SHE DANCES JUST BEYOND YOUR REACH,
A WHISPER LOST ALONG THE BEACH.
A SHADOW CAST BY THE SETTING SUN,
A GAME BEGUN, BUT NEVER WON.

SHE SPEAKS IN RIDDLES, SOFT AND SLY,
A LAUGHING GLINT BEHIND HER EYE.
A BRUSH OF HAND, A FLEETING DANCE,
THEN VANISHES MID-STEP OF DANCE.

HER LIPS, THEY PROMISE UNTOLD BLISS,
BUT VANISH JUST BEFORE THE KISS.

Its a strange winter
In Dec. Jan. Feb. 
We had Spring weather

My brother Richie used to turn into a loon when he got the old Maid.
His face would turn red, scarlet, plum, and a bright fuchsia shade.
The rest of us would know, and we could not stop laughing at him.
The one who laughed the hardest was our crazy Uncle, Weird Jim.
