There's an earthiness to each scented breeze and a warm caress in the Sun's embrace, unveiling the telltale signs of Spring's tease. The ice melts as rivers slowly unfreeze, and where daffodils dare to show their face; there's an earthiness to each scented breeze. Forecast by the weatherman's expertise a shift of seasons is set to take place, unveiling the telltale signs of Spring's tease. Where Chinooks wrestle Winter to Her knees weaving snowflakes into patches of lace, there's an earthiness to each scented breeze. Robin-red-breasts herald the honeybees, as snowmen disappear without a trace unveiling the telltale signs of Spring's tease. Anxieties instantly start to ease and doldrums depart at a quickened pace. Unveiling the telltale signs of Spring's tease, there's an earthiness to each scented breeze.

Love the line, 'There's an earthiness to each scented breeze'. Wet soil after rain...and early flowers...the tease that it might get warmer soon (yet sometimes Spring has more snow than winter - at least in Hobart when I lived there, with snow on the wattle). Lots of beauty here.

How beautiful is this dear emile, that picture youv used for the poem too is breathtaking: and I absolutely love the flow and depth of what youv conveyed here. So descriptively captivating and soulfully divine. “The ice melts as rivers slowly unfreeze, and where daffodils dare to show their face; there's an earthiness to each scented breeze.” These line left me truly in awe. You did your villanelle so well. Your refrains blend in too so well, just flawless. A fave this is for me
