my mother is sunshine on two legs
a garden on a summer day
she's also sweet as sugar pie
my mother is our pillar of strength
she doesn't see herself that way
but the years have proven so
my mother is the ship that's kept us all afloat

What came across me is still unknown
because how this has turned out
still causes me to be mind blown.
And I now shout,
“On that April 5th day, my life changed.”
Conversations as sweet as sugar.
Never ending laughter at
nothing that matters, but my smiles so much wider.
And when they ask why, I say that,
“On that April 5th day, my life changed.”
The world now revolves around you.
I can never imagine I would’ve gotten far
without the bullseye hitting true.
And yet, here you are.
On that April 5th day, my life changed.
The memories are like a stab to the heart.
Treating me as if I was anybody else,
I remember I thought of it as a piece of art.
And now, I think to myself,
“On that April 5th day, did my life really change?”
A repeat of the previous year.
Yet another knife to the core,
This has always been my greatest fear,
And I’m stuck in this cycle once more.
But on that April 5th day, I really thought my life changed.
It came to me humbly and snatched my sleep,
I then did go to the window and peep,
My eyes were wet and my cheeks were red,
As if- It was my very mind; which all these days was by me- Fed.
It came and quietly vanished,
As if- It could see the kingdom of a king banished,
I felt it leave me and go,
But then, I was so tempted by it, Oh!
I woke-up in silence,
Then sat up with resilience,
Again lied back on the bed,
Thinking about it- As if I was eating an apple red.
I could feel its birth,
With the heat from the flames in the house’s hearth,
What a short-life-span it had,
Even then, making me behind it- Go like mad!
Even in such a short-time,
It gave me memories-both sweet as sugar,
And sour as a glass of water with lime,
But, I still feel- I am a part of it now-
We are even then - Always Together.
Sweet as sugar daisy,
it’s that opening line.
Wild strawberry energy,
it’s that very first couplet.
Fairy tales start with poetry,
a quest for a thousand and one.
The ebb and flow of that journey,
follow along relax and recline
this is the viridescent princess’s story..
Wish the young ones
Grow fast as crab
Sweet as sugar.
Wish the bloom one
Learn experience
Life not wasted.
Wish the matured
Work to fruition
Never complaint.
Wish the old ones
Age to golden
Words beholden.
As one might want it to be
might two find it to be
of which in collaboration
I love you for your
dedication
get me right and I'm yours
Keep it real and I'll endure
we gotta a love thing You and me
great for each other
humbled from loves subtleties
yet as sweet
and more distinctive
flavorful and might I mention
Put your kiss on my mouth
sweet as sugar
Darling what that about
Don't get me up
if you aint down
don't show me off
to make me into a clown
tell me you know
what you doing
what's going on
The Youngest Poetess

She was sweet as sugar, learning to write.
Innocent quill … in God’s holy moonlight!
Come with me
Come and see
See the skies
See my eyes
Eyes that squeak
Eyes that speak
Speak with words
Speak without swords
Swords of alliance
Swords with brilliance
Brilliance so bold
Brilliance like gold
Gold in your heart that melts sorrow
Gold often in yellow
Yellow is not cowardice
Yellow is peace
Peace that bends and rewinds
Peace not rends but unwinds
Unwinds depression
Unwinds compression
Compression is not disposed
Compression is being closed
Closed as cigar
Closed as sweet as sugar
Sugar in your lips
Sugar that dips
Dips in every heart
Dips redder than heart
Heart so soft
Heart of loft
Loft of shelter
Loft of welfare
Welfare that breed
Welfare that heed
Heed over head
Heed and lead
Lead to mend
Lead not bend
Bend to bow
Bend and mow
Mow and purge
Mow and surge
Surge in the ocean
Surge of blue ocean
Ocean of the living
Ocean of giving
Giving that propagates
Giving like hot plates
Love in sizzling plates
Life propagates
Inspiration
You are my inspiration
You are my promise,
My desire & hope is in you
I Happy with you.
You are in my heart
Thousands are calling out,
I am satisfied with you
So no desire to lose you.
My writing, my drawing
In all of my work,
I remember you every second, in my mind
Please stay with every time in front of me.
I am melted by your sorrow
Happy with you
I become angry with your anger
Wicked because of you.
I see the world through your eyes
Heaven in your heart
I am bound by your hand
I am complete in you.
My morning starts
With a bed by you,
Want to see gentle smile in your face
When I go to bed at night.
Your words are my song
Your happy is my joy,
I spend all day seeing you
That’s why I like you.
Your love is your romance
Your like is my best
I will make a sweet home
Where live only two people
You and me
This is my hope.
I see the sea in your eyes
Clouds in your hair
Your words are sweet as sugar
All my regrets are gone.
The End
Bridal Dreams
His manner was sweet as sugar,
With a dash of pungent, cinnamon spice.
My blue eyes, twinkling like diamonds.
Dreaming only of gowns and wedding rice!

Dense fog meandering around the conurbations,
Body in the blanket; feeling cold sensations,
Oh man! 5 seems an early one,
If it'd have been summer; roads be full of joggers ton
Winter Buddy becoming dominant over my schedule,
Mom! It's only 7; Am not fool!
Although, sleep seems as sweet as sugar
Making us a professional 'job-skipper'
Indolence might be the winter's best buddy,
Body declines to go out while our mind declines to study!
Days are short and the nights are long;
Days becoming more short by sleeping all along.
We think about summers in the winters,
And, winters in the summers forsooth,
Verily, the dilemma is in our mind!
Which rings old age in the youth
Influence your mind instead being influenced by the winter,
After all, it's not a freezer!
Absorb the sunrays in lieu of fog,
C'mon man! learn something from the sedulous stray dog!
Ensuingly, summers will come and the winters will go,
Rather it depends upon you,
Either show your flair or let it go;
Nevertheless, the seasons will come and go!
Once there was a princess,
Her name was Clarabelle.
She was as sweet as sugar.
She lived in a big palace,
With her mum, dad, and younger sister.
She had lots of friends.
The sweet Princess Clarabelle
Had lots of parties in the palace.
She met a prince at one party.
They fell in love,
And had a big wedding
With all their friends and family.
The sweet Princess Clarabelle,
And her Prince Charming,
Had three children.
And they all lived
Happily ever after.

I have a Sis who I can't resist
Her poetry is never a miss
What a great Sis!
I know you know who I speak of
She lives on an island of men
Sweet as sugar, her name is:
JAN
She was the star in his velvet night
The steady beat of love's drums
How distant is that gleaming light
Too far for love, tomorrow never comes
She was the bloom that welcomed spring
When the winter cold succumbs
A fragrant rose with love to bring
Would it be there when summer comes
He found her there within his dreams
With kisses sweet as sugar plums
Lost again in an elusive scheme
Would she be there when dawn comes
Too far a dream for him to reach
Too sad the song of dawn becomes
Melodies with lessons to teach
But the lyrics say, tomorrow never comes.

Roses are red violets are blue
Your kisses are as sweet as sugar.
Your touch are as soft as cotton.
I am hypnotized into your eyes.
Your hugs I never want to let go.
For it comforts me to were I want to be.
For I am in love with you and only you.
