The best wigs are on dandelions.
Zig-zag leaves can make a crown.
The lion is the yellow flower,
and it will leave behind...
a pom-pom for a clown.
On the zig zag zenith
we will polarize
the camps between us
who don't realize
the gullible draft
of the patient soul
complacent idols
we will leave unwhole.
Bright in colour
A glory of love
Zig-zag edges of the petals
A symbol of life-long worry of a mother
Layers of petals
A symbol of the eternal love of a mother
snow blankets the ground
crystal stars melt together
form a field of white
in the silence of winter
paw prints trace a zig-zag path
low constant rumble
ignorant breath of the night -
lightning formations

Have you found a snake’s rattle while digging?
I did once.
I carefully covered it back up too.
As soon as I saw the zig zag of the fat one’s skin.
Thanking God I had uncovered this end rather than the other one.
Kept silenced and away from many
Under a clear glass for only him to see
Daring to jump through the clear sheet
Zig-zag his way to liberation
Atone himself from the darkness inside
Invite in the light he wants to live in
I began to choke cough and gag
I think I let the Hot Kitty Rancid Milk out the bag
My friend approached me in anger
She should never tell such things like that to a stranger
I ran her gossip in and out of a crowd in a full zig-zag
A corner lifted
Like today's dawn
Bright burnt redness
The goblin smiled.
A lip curved
Like today's moon
Cookie cut darkness
The goblin smiled.
A teeth peeped
Like today's lightening,
Zig zag whiteness
The goblin smiled.
stir distant rumbles
zig zag wink heat lightning's zaps--
sheets of rain scream down

Zig-zag mountain tips lay against the sky, marigold true.
They are sleeping giants waiting for the dawn.
As golden light seeps through
The blazing sun wakes adagio with a yawn.
Sun rays begin to unrest the peaks; a new day is in spawn.
The piglet is a baby pig
As far as it appears
The wiglet is a tiny wig
That fits on tiny ears
The ziglet is a little zig
But only when it veers.

It was yesterday
The brown grass was seen
Waking in the morn
The scene was different
Joe Ann looked outside
A sudden change seen
The wind was blowing
The snow was dancing
Making the snow move
In a zig zag form
The snowflakes dancing
In the empty field
We made another touchdown
Without a penalty
As children on the playground
Full of amenity
You made it to the zone
Again without a flag
We act the same when grown
In formation zig zag
Now we're at the field goal line
No fumble in our grasp
Stay inside the sideline
Three points again I gasp
Reverse this polarity, my hormonal engine
Playing my body like a baby grand
Rough and rugged, Jerry Lee Lewis
Succumbs to Louis Armstrong in Platinum
Blues verses boogy woogy
An invariable blender, shaken not stirred
Keeping me up nights
Tapping my toes to the teardrops

Zig-Zag
Downtown or on the roadway
zig-zag searching
always for something..
Stopping at a coffeeshop
reaching a place
seemingly removed..
An interruption in
a zig-zag map
with map forgotten..
The coffeeshop was not
a zig stop..or a zag
just momentary..a respite..
Might zig-zag dissolve
right here and now
in this cup of coffee...?
floating aimless
a zig-zag in
a time of discovery...
were these surreal
moments mine
lost in thought
was life a code
poetic thoughts
appear
then fade
seeing the world come and go
in pictures of the floating world
this ode came floating
to unfold
Being an artist who loves color
and a gardener like my brother
I put my skills together like my mother
Knowing May as well as my mother
In sunshine and warm weather and every other
This garden could blossom like no other
Planted hyacinth and tulips in a zig zag way
a lively combination of orange and blue, so gay
My artist side showing well today
Fist clenched,
fingernails dig their curves into my skin.
Heavy footprints grow silent.
I unravel my fist slowly;
like an armadillo when it knows it’s safe,
extending my fingers out towards the stale air.
I watch as it sits there,
in the center of my palm,
near my zig-zag scar
Times new roman 12 point black;
B*tch
Staring back at its new rightful owner.

Let’s hold hands together
I’ll make the troubles smothered
As I believe,
Worst thing can only get better
Let’s lighten our path up, life’s like a game
This zig zag will never be the same
As you walked through it once
Hard will never be your word twice
Let’s jump on this gap, leap by leap
There’s no trend to weep
Stack your bolds in a heap
You’ll defeat foggy life trip
Walking the riverside, the rain stopped, the sun reappeared.
Weaving thru the weeds came the dragonfly.
A trembling shimmer of gauzy wings.
Darting electric blues,greens and bronze
In a crazy zig-zag dance.
Droplets clung to rain-splashed leaves.
A mosaic of life-nature's multitude.
The dragonfly bustled with fingertip precision.
Gathering fragments of gold,
It sped away,
A life in a day!
Visual# 1
Where river bends on waves which sweep
The air rustling mild, I can see
Swans waltzing as dusk gloams to peep
Where river bends
Dressed in lace, how svelte they can be
While night shadows begin to creep,
Birds of grace prancing near each tree.
Bathed by mist, don't they fall asleep?
With zig-zag dance, on eve's marquee,
Plumes winging till morn...so to leap
Where river bends
There once was a lady of Celtic descent
Who cosseted canines wherever she went.
The birds in her garden would sing forth her praise,
And stray cats salute her, their tails duly raised.
Grey squirrels would gleefully zig-zag all day
For here they had no need to cache nuts away.
And deer ate her plants but she'd care not a tittle;
No wonder friends nicknamed her 'Dotty Doolittle'!
