Mountainous snowcapped beside
Underneath blue sky
Many proud mountains
Worn to insignificance--
Just gone with the wind
Howling Wilderness
windswept
bleak treeless plain
white blanketed mountains
permafrost hardened ground, I am
alone
distant echoes rise-up
over mountanis
resounding poetic phrases-
its soul's brilliance so profound
triggering insanitiy.

Fresh mown field of hay
Robust scent fills the morning
Dewy mist hovers
Creating murky gray dawn
Brisk, sweet air enlivening
Through the Partnach Gorge,
Super-aerated rapids
Drop past awed climbers.
High in the mountains
A log cabin in the trees
Aspens in color
Sit next to maples scarlet blaze
Hear the rippling river sing
mountains so high
looks mysterious in the night
