Lighting up candles
And so are you
Under the christmas trees
Getting ready for christmas
Here comes father santa!
mouse
runs fast
likes inside
wall at his back
squeaks loudly when caught
goodbye darling
a startling
racing

the sun has banished
darkness has swept in
monsters have risen
now,
it's time to feed the demons

After midnight, the spider spins its silk between stars.

My soul breathes the earth
Eyes see the light in the trees
My heart brims with joy
Sprinkled among my memories
A little girl, humble and shy.
Sneaking her head up for a peek
Barely heard as I travel by.
Youth
Well spent
Self love please
Follow your heart
An idealist
Energetic
Creative
Heartfelt
Youth
When all seems down,
To Heaven we shall bound,
And when all seems safe and sound,
Thy shall meet Him who wears a Crown.
a door left ajar~
not open,
not shut~
the quiet posture
of a reason
we’re still
trying to believe
midnight settles over unbroken plain,
crickets stitch faint threads of sound,
stars embrace the silence

dandelion seeds
ride the unseen wind's promise
faith becomes rooting
night folds its wings
around your quiet breathing~
a silver hush drifting
through the doorway of sleep
dust drifts through doorway of the aging house
floorboards singing old secrets
to the settling sunlight
