seems what it can seem,
really there, although unseen,
chameleon blends in.
Fireplaces are fresh,
Cups hold hot coffee
Flannel shirts,
Denim jeans.
Stars are night lights
Untouched snow found.
Streamers of smooth light--
luminous phenomenon
hovers the northern
and southern magnetic poles--
mesmerizing Auroras

Our history shows
Many clannish castles fell

transient souls
take offs and landings
always going to other places
paper areoplanes
are ghostly things
don't sit
do this
move around
town to town
see whats going down
see the difference taste
go to many places
MEET NEW FACES
feather drifting on the sea
going to where
I want to be
feather drifting on the sea
going to where?
I want to be
How many canes were broken?
How much pain teachers taken?
All the places calling schools
To make these fools of fools
Spanish moss telling
Gray stories of the Old South
History disputes

*Japanse vertical haiku combined with a picture
An example of my haiga http://haiga-ichthys.blogspot.com/
Seen through child like eyes
I looked up discovering
New
Train that life showed.

Peace
we sow
grains so small
fonder that grow
in places for all.
Harvests we reap
love we heap
heartbeats'
feats.
its has taste
and places
for us all
its was gods call
its his land
we must stand hand to
hand
to and band
FOLLOW GODS PLAN
black circles
mold spores on prison walls...
spreading day by day!
For Charles Henderson's "Haiku your way" Contest
Hazy skies choke me
Eyes red unable to see
Coughing I stay in
Trades return to set me free
Kona winds blow south once more
we took a walk
then came a spray folk
its was hot
we jump in the lot
we sit on the bench stool
IT WAS
PARK COOL POOL
I have places to go
And people to see
Things to do..
Maybe tomorrow
dandelion fuzz
released into the air
by a wish --
childhood dreams scatter
to places unknown
3/24/15
in contemplation-
incarceration frees up
thoughts into a dream

Unpredictable
By no direction of man
Angels spread their wings
And are carried by fresh wind
To places unknown, unseen
In tidy closets ~
Coats hang peacefully,
Quiet, Muffled happiness,
Beside little shoeboxes,
The cosiest of spaces.
A choirboy from Tupelo
Soon saw his fame grow,
From a gospel sound
To world-wide renown-
Ends suddenly in Memphis town.
