Fireplaces are fresh,
Cups hold hot coffee
Flannel shirts,
Denim jeans.
Stars are night lights
Untouched snow found.

Twirling winter seed
each flake dancing with the wind

RAIN OR SHINE
There`s nothing as pure
and nothing as round
nothing as bright or
white as snow nothing
as graceful to me

COLD AND THE SNOW
This snowglobe-like heart of mine
inheres snowstorms, yet it is
tamed by a human-skinned, bright
sunfallen one: you.
Mystical crystals
Falling softly from the sky
Look to the Heavens
Look to the Angels above
Snowy Christmas wonderland
in cursive shadows
a sun mused elm composes
on pristine parchment

When the flakes of white
Upon thy road light
Let not it bring thee to heel
Place floor mat beneath thy wheel
honey the winds blowing
the snow is flowong
am lonely for you
miss every thing you do
i need you too
BABY I MISS YOU
snow on his head
fire in his bottom
hot potato in his mouth
thorns in his feet
preparing for marathon
with teenagers
first snowfall
pristine coat of white
footprints to mailbox

an injured bluebird longing
for the branches above

the forgotten seeds of fall
