I am a woman who has a color for every emotion, there is a rainbow that shines inside my breast, right after every storm.
Form:
I put
My arms
Around her, and
We walked
Through this storm
In this life, there is meaning,
A good reason to be born
roiled green with envy
roaring giants alter course…

This snowglobe-like heart of mine
inheres snowstorms, yet it is
tamed by a human-skinned, bright
sunfallen one: you.
storm surge chisel cuts
sharp brine edge of razor waves -
rock face smooth wet glass

Through the storm and the chaos
I have found the light
Brief and non enduring
But a light nonetheless
An undisturbed
moment,
like unruffled
water
ere the storm.

dark and churning
a storm threatens
freedom-starved mankind

an innocent
listening heart
content
serene
applauds
and does not scorn
tolerates...
a rock in life's
ongoing storm
I seek not
Fame or fortune, nor glory
From this untimely death, but
Death has patient wings gliding
Through this storm
The calm before the storm creeps in,
Silence amongst us, speaking its lonely words,
We hear naught, for naught is heard.
Lightning illuminates a tornado
A double image of furiousness

sycamore swaying-
rooks nesting high
midst the bursting buds-
stick by stick each gust unpicks
a patient labour of love
The storm has passed, now we must move on,
"don’t even try to understand," know only
that we enjoyed this moment together
...for jhl
shimmering thermals
rise like the unleashed phoenix
summer storm has fled
gray sky's angry flash
it's stomach loud hungry roars
earthworm for dinner

headlands
strong winds and rains as we watch
the waves sleight of hand
capturing then releasing
the breath of the tides
Heavy rains make flood
Earthworms crawling to mud huts

flashes of thunder, lightning
get out of the pool

waiting for the night to dissipate
and the storm to pass
