     I hereby decline
     to speak my mind

       You might publish the news
       of my orthodox views

Lost I am, my angel, take me home, I gently plead

Lost I am, my angel, take me home, I gently plead,
I surrendered the reins of my love to a stranger without face or presence,
I stumble and fall on this empty, endless road, alone and lost,
I traveled until tears were no longer a support in the past.
I grind away in emptiness, a wardrobe abandoned by time

Lilacs Plead

like hanged tresses
ground's scented wig —
purple boundless

Plead

Thank you for the guilt
you planted in me
for making me worry
for what I never did
for mistaking my intentions
and make me plead
for stealing my confidence
and my peace

He'll Plead Insanity

In the stillness of a cool, spring morning,
A cardinal’s heart is heavy – he’s heartbroken.
Softly calling for the lover he is mourning.

Thumps noisily against the clear glass pane,
Reflecting the scarlet bird, lost in his grief,
Striking the window, again and again – is he insane?

Opposed To Find Your Rainbows End

A quiet storm made its way
Feelings strewn and blown astray
Enamored in one another were we
In turns a desperation to be free
Lost in each other, thus
A soft-focused portrait of us

Warm is the sea as the sun is swallowed                 
Pleading vacant

Plead With Me

Plead with me,
in this agony,
to let us breath.
Extend our hands and arms,
towards the blinding sun,
and tell the world,
how far we've come.

Little Lives Plead

Little lives plead,
Don’t make them bleed.

God-given gifts, they must be spared, 
Let us say no to abortion,
It’s a sin worse than extortion,
Snuffing innocent lives uncared;

Expecting love, they’re unprepared
For the cruel deed that has snared,
It’s a sin worse than extortion;

Little lives plead,
Let us say no to abortion,
Their cries for mercy,

I Plead the Fifth- Im Innocent

Me and my muse had a fight,
She said I played it too safe.

Our nasty duel lasted all night.
I got so mad; I told her to leave.

She's been gone since October.
I have no tricks up my sleeve.
