I Plead the Fifth- Im Innocent

Me and my muse had a fight,
She said I played it too safe.

Our nasty duel lasted all night.
I got so mad; I told her to leave.

She's been gone since October.
I have no tricks up my sleeve.

If you see a lackluster poem,
my muse is missing; blame her.

Your muse and you should make up. She obviously cares, because she's still helping you to create awesome poetry. Blessings, Evelyn

She'll come back when you venture forth into some new, refreshing genres, I'll bet. We await the return!

Dont worry Alexis, we all have those falling outs with our muses, some come back with their tails between their legs, some go never to return. Hope your day has been a good one. Tom

This world is filled with muses waiting for an opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings, so open your mind to a new one! "Always more fish in the sea!" Aloha! (The Captcha Code is "X69" opposing an enjoyable Sunday) Rico
