Little Lives Plead

Little lives plead, Don’t make them bleed. God-given gifts, they must be spared, Let us say no to abortion, It’s a sin worse than extortion, Snuffing innocent lives uncared; Let us say no to abortion, Expecting love, they’re unprepared For the cruel deed that has snared, It’s a sin worse than extortion; Little lives plead, Let us say no to abortion, Their cries for mercy, I have shared, It’s a sin worse than extortion, Don’t make them bleed; Don’t make them bleed ~ Little lives plead. 01.09.2022

Every child is a blessing to someone. There is help for those who don’t have funds to carry a child that they may adopt out to parents yearning for children they are unable to have. Your message is of great value Jo. I had to remain bedridden for six months with both my daughter and son to keep them safe from miscarriage. My children are my greatest blessings. Congratulations on your wonderful win. Blessings xxoo

thanks for speaking up for the little ones, Jo. It is a powerful piece pointing out the precious nature of a child - God's gift to the world with a purpose only He can give. Lovely thoughts, Jo.

Congratulations Jo! Your poem earned a distinguished place in my contest. This contest was difficult, calling for exacting syllable counts and perfect rhymes, as requirements of this form. Well done my friend, Emile.
