Dog stands in muddy wading pool
Drinking this clay-gray gruel he made
He is sitting now, immersing his body in the wetness
Knowing what he intends to do next,
I jump up and make my way to the gate

Fat Mouse
He has scored three
me still none
He is fat
I, running out of cheese
a little critter he is
outsmarting my genius
this house
not big enough
for the both of us
the battle is on
the outcome
unknown

It’s not for lack of intelligence
My inhibitor is on the fritz
A frontal lobe phenomena
I’m prone to gaffes and fits
My amygdalae are loaded
A hair trigger set to snap
Sometimes words escape me
Like rats outsmarting a trap

He says he is right, but she has a different philosophy.
They differ on everything but share the same astrology.
She's so naive but always tries to be a mother.
They end up doing comedy while outsmarting each other.
Ready to put up a fight, she just needs a bit of reason.
She would continue her flow; of course, she doesn't like to listen.
Only heaven knows what they are about to do next.
Union looks unlikely as she is east and he represents west.

going back forwards
step up to sit down
laughing with a frown
being lost to be found
outsmarting em by being dumb
wishing for wishes but never wishing one
playing the lottery for a retirement plan
spend all your life working for the man
smile while you cry
using the truth as a lie
wanting more but doing less
always hoping for the best
banging on the door to get outside
rolling on the floor trying to fly
throwing away the lottery ticket before you scratch
bury your money to grow quick cash

Winter walks away
through spring mud
and melting snow,
face weighted in frown,
Napoleon fists unclenched
in humiliating retreat,
his Grande Armee of cold,
ice and wind
dying on their feet
utterly depleted
never to fully recover
in truth,
Winter was once
Emperor,
outflanking Autumn,
outsmarting snowplows,
outraging motorists,
and quite possibly
overestimating himself

I can’t understand the ambition
Of people who love to go fishin’.
Outsmarting your dinner
Might say you’re a winner,
But what when you fail in that mission?

Remember how the
morning was warm with
its first hint of spring
Under the sky unusually clear
our smiles were wandering
through streets with coffee scent
uplifting the mood and the sun
outsmarting the moon
Your bus arrived early when
I thought how again I am
walking you home half-way
Only half-way because the
day was Sunday and
everything closed half-early
in Luxembourg and the
buses too arrived early bringing
nostalgia too quickly
so the day was cut by half
half-early yet the
sun was outsmarting the moon
too soon

Heartbeat fast
Nerves so high
Senses tense
Mind trembling
Darkness surrounded
I’m turning
From side to side
Blood veins jumping
Thoughts in chaos
Brain running
Stars falling
I’m still turning
From side to side
Time is still
Clocks have turned
Against me
And my mind
Outsmarting time
I’m turning
From side to side
Eyelids falling
Heartbeat fast
Nerves so high
Mind is tense
I’m still turning
From side to side

Every morning when I awake
And reach for my paper and coffee cake,
I check to see if my name appears,
Trying to quell my deepest fears
That this might be the very day
When the old grim reaper has his way
It’s really a little game we play!
He’s trying to catch me unawares,
I don’t think that he really cares
When it will be, as long as he can say he’s won…
The game is over… so long… it’s done.
But I must outwit his nefarious scheme
For it has always been my dream
To live as long as my enemies do
Longer is better from my point of view!
So I eat my veggies, drink my milk,
Cream my face till it’s smooth as silk
When I drink my wine, I never drive,
Insuring I will arrive home alive.
I watch my weight, walk a mile a day
And watch out for cars along the way.
I’ve followed the plan to a tee
But there is a problem that I see
I’ve gotten too old to run and hide
As I feel my bones rub together inside
So I’ve decided to lure him to bed
But with someone else lying there instead.
And since love is blind, he will not see,
The victim he smites is not me!
The game is over…so long…it’s done
But he’ll never know…it is I who’s won!

was hired to babysit life
was hired to babysit life
gave hollywood their homework
an assignment im sure
keep us all in line
13 steps of this war
keep us all in line
deadlocked to get what we want
i was hired to babysit life
i was hired to babysit life
it was gonna be harder than i thought
judging my own innocence ididn't understand
13 steps keep us all in line and deadlocked
deadlocked
we will get what we want
a war we all win
born for this
wanna do it again
but we wont
onto something new
i was hired to make you feel ok for what happened
what happened to align ourselves to be where we at
to get what we want
how far we pushed to be the people we are
the ones striving for the successes of all involved
13 steps
13steps
keeping us deadlocked
outsmarting ourselves
to gather the plot
the plot we wrote
fooled by it again
mastering our own destiny
what else did you think we were gonna do
I came to babysit life
life was lost
found the great big hiding place
came to babysit the meatphor of life
hollywood has an assignment
13 steps to keep us deadlocked
3 licves to follow along
never know till you see it
everyone belongs it takes everyone

couldnt quite say this question
everyone hints at it
but the wild card i am is at dismay
what could i say
the color scheme is disorder
the chaos of feg shui
something you keep trying to say
something well worth repeating
another player of this solitaire magic show
i wish i would disapear int my own footsteps
or crawl out of this empty shell
the stars seem so far away
glowing in the void
of formless questions
red carpet led me toward their shallow grave
on my shoulder
they repent and whisper
dig deeper sweetheart
its almost over
and look the other way
no easy way to outsmart the riddle
break down the masterpiec to a simple letter and send it along the way
something i could never say
too clearly
otherwise left here standing in my shadows
lurking from the hands in the anarchy
reaching out of the tears they weep
nervous laughter
and insanity
this is not the riddle
this is not the answer
food for thought that it is there
a way to outsmart the riddle
the changing formlessness
changing hands
to find you hiding fom yourself at last gasp
staining your own hands if you have it at last

I was not capable of
contradicting the quietness.
A silent emotion was insulting me.
Forgetting the self-denial
I went for choosing the impossible.
Am I sick of myself ?
The agony overwhelms me with mystic relief.
Here and now I feel the human spirit
outsmarting the gifts of revenge
in the eyes of past.
No hope of breeze. It is hot inside,
the spirit burning. False peers
were scoring with debts of darkness.
Tiny ideas crowd the mind
flying straight through the mist of anguish
I elect to be nothing.

Countless generations passed by,
Complicating the annals of Mother Nature,
Each outsmarting the other,
Setting new grounds,
Conquering newer heights,
Being more perfect and a little less human.
The reddish sun sets once again,
Tired and beaten, envying man’s audacity.
A boy sat watching the night sky,
Floods of emotions running through him.
He remembered his achievements,
His outstanding brilliance,
The years spent in inhuman fitness training,
The high diplomatic circles, power parties,
Every flaw plugged, nothing left to chance.
Heartwarming family memories overwhelmed him,
A loving mother, a doting father, his dog Tuffy,
The lovely flower valley where he used to play,
His inseparable friends, his first crush.
Lumps of feelings choked him,
He wanted to leave everything, turn back.
A sudden jerk broke his thoughts,
The long awaited journey had begun.
Mother Earth became smaller and smaller,
An exciting new life awaits him on planet Mars.
