I lost my hair and I lost my pep
That's why I lost the spring in my step
But I couldn't go on
When my manhood was gone
And I lost my wife to Johnny Depp
Never I can forget that day,
memories remain fresh, as if
it happened only yesterday.
I didn't expect you would open
up your mind with such lovely thought;
Flow of words was like a poem;
Tells me from life what else you sought.
Yet, that imprints feeling which stay
in memory for decades, touch
heart always in positive way.
Appreciate the words chosen
which expresses the wise views, taught
a great lesson for all, focus
to help each needy on the spot.

I was empty at the start, but a shell of a man.
Hopeless drunkard and a menace with no path and no plan.
On the day that we met, I fell in love with your laugh,
with your smile and your kindness, slowly,
you carved the pain from my past and with each new day
I began to learn to live and love again, at last
I cannot begin to express the true extent in which You,
And only you are forever embedded in my heart.
Each pulsing beat a reminder of the reasons
My heart beats only for you.
My blood warms only to keep you from freezing.
You are both my reason for breathing and yet the reason
I'm left breathless all the time.
The very sight of you leaves me stunned beyond belief
Your embrace grants the most beautiful relief to all
Life's aches and pains, thank you. I hope this is enough.
My ears are warm
Ones burning up
I'm so tired
I could sleep for a month.
The rain is cold
I need to awake
As I'm going to a party
That has birthday cake.
My smile will be false
Until I snap back to life
If I can't seem to do it
I'm gonna be in strife.
I'll take a deep breath
Suck in with all my might
Shake away my tiredness
And go have a good night.

Sitting with a sister in law of mine
listening to music and having a good time.
its cold but who cares we are rugged up
happy the fact where for once not in a rut.
laughing and bopping not a care touch wood around us
kids are finally settled the amount here we could fill a bus.
haven't submitted everyday like i said i would
been heaps sick and wish that i could.
anyways all have a good time
and theres another on the spot poem of mine.

A light so bright
Blinds your sight
A noise so loud
Scares you to the clouds.
A love so true
You had to go through.
A trust so strong
Feeling safe for so long.
A split moment of hurt
The way you just got burnt.
The tearing of your insides
The tears and emotions you hide.
A new door to open in time
Is the best way to leave your past behind.

Cant help but stop
And soak in the fresh air.
Green trees
All tall and proud
Bright big sun
In a sky with no clouds.
Birds chirping
Flying around the trees
Would be great
To be that free.

The coldness is chilling

I missed one day
Even though i said
I would submit a poem
Everyday from then
Having a night without mymy kids
Time well needed the break is due
Even though i love them
But needed some hours if only a few.
So theres another little poem

starting the day
by sleeping in
makes you rush around
like a big whirl wind
when you get to finally
stop rushing around
you sit with a cuppa
and relax with no sound
raining and cold
doesn't help wanting to sleep
staying warm and cosy
socks on your feet
that's my day
can still hear the rain
i'll set my alarm
so i can't get the blame.

The day was great
sunshine no rain
calm and a tad boring
but then my day became.
hectic as all the rest
kids n dinner
the nights calm and not cold
that's always a winner.
distracted but want to do
what i said i was gonna do
write an on the spot poem
and i'm gonna see it through.
so sorry if this one's
a bit silly and lame
i will do my best from now on
and make up a better day.

I heard today
a different way
to speak your mind
and expressed ways to be kind.
the lines didn't rhyme
to me that is fine
i hope eventually
i will see,
O r maybe find a way to write
what i heard tonight
so i can think each one of you
that has read my poems on poetry soup.
The comments people gave me
are helping set my shyness free
so once again i thank you all
for helping me start to stand tall.

I want to post a poem
that i'm making up right now
i want to see if everyday i can
i know i know how.
so this one is the first one
tomorrows will have much more
i'm just letting you all know
so you don't think i'm a bore.
i have many things to say
doesn't always come out right
i do always mean well
and i love to make peoples day bright.
i have three kids i love
ages 14,8, and 3
they all keep me on my feet
but i know they all love me .
that's all i have for now
i will be back again to share more
and read others work
i love being on this its awesome for sure.
