My Nose Is Hard

Murk Rammer froze as he felt the nuzzle
of a snub-nosed thirty-eight’s deadly muzzle.
Louis The Retch poked it into his back.
“The jig’s up, Rammer. I ain’t cuttin’ no slack.”

Murk had been tricked by a double-crossing dame,
alias “Frigitte,” he didn’t know her real name.
She’d been his undoing, that cute little louse,
undoing the buttons on her bulging blouse,
then slipping out of her slip and her hose,
and her holster too; yeah, she had one of those.

He’d fallen for Frigitte, completely deluded.
She’d come on strong, delightfully denuded.
She’d kissed him hard and let him get a good grab,
but when he dozed off she skipped out and blabbed.

The shamed shamus woke up and found a clue
and went to a warehouse -- a decision he’d rue.
He’d fallen for the ruse, he’d taken the bait,
and walked right in to a date with fate.
That darn dame had put him on the spot.
He was one peeved peeper who’d loved for naught.

The warehouse was full of contraband goods.
They belonged to The Retch, a sleazeball hood --
lead falcons from “Malta” and vases from “Ming,”
dubious diamonds and other blarney-ish bling,
a lading of lies from a smug little smuggler,
who played for keeps and went for the jugular.

And now The Retch had gotten the drop.
No chance for Murk to call for the cops.
“It’s curtains for you,” the Retched one said,
“The only way out is to go down dead.”

“You win,” Murk said, with a little shrug.
He knew he was beat and waited for the slug.
A bullet in the back was the final payoff.
Fat chance The Retch would decide to lay off.

Murk heard the click of a cocked-back hammer
and waited for death in his taciturn manner.
Bang! went a gun – but not the thirty-eight.
The shot came from someone hiding behind a crate.

The Retch went down with blood on his chest,
then high heels approached; you know the rest.
Bad girl Frigitte leapt into Murk’s arms.
She just couldn’t stand to see him harmed.
And that had been Murk’s ace in the hole,
playing so well the Romeo role.

He wrapped his arms around Frigitte’s waist
and their mouths joined together, such a spicy taste!
Then he took her hand and led her out
into rain washed streets where wet shadows slouched.

Did Murk turn Frigitte in to the cops?
Or let love fill his head with mushy slop?
The ending of this tale I’ll leave up to you,
but as for me, I haven’t a clue.

Empty

You took off for Christmas and New Years Eve, and you came back high and chirpy with a rosy face looking like daisy blended with charming lips and an attitude that could pull me off the cliff. I saw you sitting there, acting as if you don’t care, you are so obsessed with the show and I have no other place to go but to sit and watch you and try to get a sensible clue from you. But the hours slip by quickly and the show ended in a jiffy leaving me high and dry with a new ambition waving in the sky.

Suddenly everything around me become obsolete but hopes catapult me to my feet, there was nothing to hold to and a sudden emptiness that I have been fighting for weeks captivate my body. I took a walk up the street hoping to find someone to lay it on, but no one was there, but the cars driving along the street they were just few but they appears to be many.

I walked into the grocery store and stood behind the door so as not to distract the customers, the shopkeeper saw me and wave to me. She forced a smile and went around the back and left me standing there looking in despair as the harshness of life has taken its tolls in the environment and everyone was paying the price.

I felt the tears springing up in my eye and suddenly I started to cry. I tried desperately to hold back the tears so as not to embarrass myself on the spot and so I suppressed the emotion. My body took on a different figure and I could feel all my joints getting stiff and so I clenched my fist and stood silently behind the door and I could hear my own heart beat racing towards the shore and my body moving to an unfamiliar rhythm. The customers come and go staring at me with budging eyes, some had no purpose there they only wanted to look at me.

I kept squeezing the tears inside hoping someone could understand how I feel and touch the pain in me. But my spirit kept draining and my heart continue to ache. I bid the shopkeeper goodbye and venture out the door stumbling on the brumby side walk until I was able to hold my grounds. I walked slowly along the path and each step that I take I could hear your voice shaking and telling me to go. I like watching the show because that’s the only time I can be with you. My hands are stiff my heart is pounding and my soul is waiting for you. Just one more day and I will board the plane and go away from this wretched place.

Satan wanted to do battle and challenged the Lord
A battle that would soon begin
God’s Angels descended being the Lord’s spiritual
Warriors and the Lord accompanied them

Lord:	I am the Lord Almighty of Faith in trust of Deliverance
Satan you are no match for me
I bring the ultimate superiority of power beyond yours

BILLY the Kid's Great Escape.

"Word has it you said that if we ever met again you'd kill me on the spot.
Well here I am Kid. Now's your chance. Show me what you've got.
It's a shame that you'll hang in another week or two,
because I'd love to be the one who gets to kill you.
I've got 16 silver dimes in each barrel of my shotgun.
I'd love to try them out on you, but I can't unless you run.
If I free you from those chains will you run for the door?
Oh by the way Kid, your Ma was one sweet loving whore.
I'll kill you before you hang Kid. That's a sure bet."
"Be careful Bob," said the Kid, "I'm not hung yet.
" Bob thrusted his shotgun hard into Billy's gut.
The Kid looked up at him in pain and said, "Now what?"
"Don't do it Bob," Bell said angrily, "or you'll be the one who'll hang for sure
for killing a man in cold blood who was chained helplessly to the floor.
It's time for the other prisoners to be escorted across the street to be fed.
The Kid's not going anywhere. He's chained to the floor by his bed.
Anyway, I took the prisoners last so now it's your turn.
Go and have yourself a beer and I'll stay here and guard the Kid until you return.
Bob Ollinger placed his shotgun into the gun rack.
Before he left he said to Billy, "I'll see you when I get back."
No one can say for sure if the above dialog ever truly took place.
One thing's for sure. Ollinger tormented Billy at a merciless endless pace.
They were arch enemies who fought against each other during the Lincoln County War.
Ollinger was in the posse that killed John Tunstall, Billy's employer, friend and mentor.
"I have to use the outhouse Bell," Billy said to the deputy.
Bell kept his rifle trained on Billy as he tossed him the key.
Billy unlocked the chains that kept him bound to the floor.
Still in handcuffs and leg irons, Bell escorted Billy out the door.

Georgy Buys a Car

GEORGY BUYS A CAR

A man named Georgie had a few--
Pintsy, wintysy , God Almintsy little pints

In the pub perched slick heart Zack--
Scammer, hammer, oh what glamour little scam

Zack bought Georgie round of drinks--
Hooker, crooker, throw the book sir , little hook

Georgie said a car he’d buy--
Rider, slider, swim the tide Sir, little ride

Zack said “ I got just the ride”--
Squeezer , pleaser, shake the knees Sir, little squeeze

Out the door and to the lot--

Bought the car right on the spot--
Casher, flasher, grab the masher, little cash

                          Georgie got the sales receipt--
Cheater, bleater, Shakespeare’s theatre, little cheat

Zack pulled out a calling card--
Teaser, pleaser, Wine and cheese sir? little tease

And with this card came Friday wash--
Freebie, sleebie, heebee geebies little free

Car wash was a thief run scam--
Scamzee , tamzee, oops and whamzee little scam

                          Georgie used his Friday ticket--
Washy sloshy, Dryzy wyzy now goodbzy little car

                          Zack is smiling-- Georgie’s not--
Smilin', dialin' so beguilin, scammer’s smile

                                     Learn from Georgie’s little lesson--
Lesson, stressin, keep you guessin’, little lesson
Don’t buy cars when you are drunk--
Sunk, punk, in a funk, hide in trunk while you are drunk.

Premium Member Chill Comin' On

(Intro)

(Verse 1)

Used to be
We had a one-of-a-kind love
A passion flame that burned so hot
Night-after-night
Without puttin' up a fight
You'd give it to me on the spot
Now you're tellin' me
You need a change of pace
And I can't even get to second base

(Verse 2)

I can tell
I've got no hold on you anymore
There's another person in your eyes
Don't try to say
I'm just gettin' in the way
I've had enough of your goodbyes
I never ever knew
What you were all about
Is this your way of coolin' out?

(Chorus 1)

There's a chill comin' on
And it's in your heart girl
Throw that icy stare
Do what you can to tear me apart

There's a chill - chill comin' on
An arctic breeze
This love is growin' old
Now you look at me so cold I freeze

(Bridge)

Oh there's such a chill
This love is growin' old ...

(Solo)

Ooh now I've gotta find
Another weather zone
While you find yourself all alone

(Chorus 2)

There's a chill comin' on
There's a winter wind
Cold front, cold back
What's the chance you'll let me in?

There's a chill - chill comin' on
An early frost ...
What good is being cold girl
If loneliness is what it costs?

(A Capella Break)

(Chorus 1)

There's a chill comin' on
And it's in your heart girl
Throw that icy stare
Do what you can to tear me apart

There's a chill - chill comin' on
An arctic breeze
This love is growin' old
Now you look at me so cold I freeze

(Chorus 2)

There's a chill comin' on
There's a winter wind
Cold front, cold back
What's the chance you'll let me in?

There's a chill - chill comin' on
An early frost ...
What good is being cold girl
If loneliness is what it costs?

(Chorus 1)

There's a chill comin' on
And it's in your heart girl
Throw that icy stare
Do what you can to tear me apart

There's a chill - chill comin' on
An arctic breeze
This love is growin' old
Now you look at me so cold I freeze

(Outro)

I freeze ...

There's a chill - chill comin' on
There's a chill - chill comin' on
There's a chill - chill comin' on

(Repeat Ad Nauseum)

My Breaking Point

I used to be so optimistic
Now, I feel like a pathetic stranger
I used to be so enthusiastic
I have to deal with more danger…
Now I am
Lacking potential,
strength and intelligence
I used to be a cheerful kid
I used to be a real bad boy
But, now I am
Mature enough to face my consequences
I used to be so courageous
I used to be such a genius
But, now I am
Guilty for letting go of my innocence…
I wept silently…tears bounce off my eyes
These voices in my head are telling me lies
But, now I am
Close to my breaking point
My bones are out of joint
There’s no more room for happiness
All of my joy is faltering…
As I hear you hollering
You pushed me around like some worthless door
I stand up for myself and face my fears
All I hear is your jeers
I used to be a cheerful kid
I used to be a real bad boy
But, now I am
Mature enough to face my consequences
I used to be so courageous
I used to be such a genius
But, now I am
Guilty for letting go of my innocence…
I wept silently…tears bounce off my eyes
These voices in my head are telling me lies
But, now I am
Close to my breaking point
Don’t weigh me down…you’re as cruel as gravity
You demolished my sanity
I’m pushing forward…never looking down
‘Cause when I do look down, I can’t help but frown
I must get out of here…
Before I get swallowed up in my fear
Of losing this battle…of uncertainty
Don’t bottle up tainted misery
I keep telling you, “There’s always tomorrow
To do what you love to do best…just rest,
Darling…please, hear me out!”
You just turn the other way
I suppose today was a humiliating day
I see you run away…
I used to be a cheerful kid
I used to be a real bad boy
But, now I am
Mature enough to face my consequences
I used to be so courageous
I used to be such a genius
But, now I am
Guilty for letting go of my innocence…
I wept silently…tears bounce off my eyes
These voices in my head are telling me lies
But, now I am
Close to my breaking point
I used to chase after you, but I’d rather not…
I didn’t mean to leave you to rot
I got to leave this wretched place
Because when I ARRIVED, I felt like a disgrace
I’m planted on the spot
Now, there’s no way to leave this terrible,
Terrible lot

The Seed of Deception

Young man, cheating is like investing in self-sorrow
You inflict now, the pain on yourself that you’re only going to feel in future

Look at life this way and observe
As we look around and find that there’s no one watching us
We quickly run into the darkness and betray those who trust us
Not for long, light comes in and we’re seen
For we’re always found out, one way or another

And we realize how these walls have been blessed with sight
No walls befriend any man
Never hide behind them, it’s foolish to confide behind walls
It’s foolish to act and hide
Yet wise are the acts of light

Thick plastered as they may be, these walls can clearly see
And beautifully colored as they may be, these walls will tell all your dark secrets
News goes out and the world is told
“The young man has cheated”
He pulls in all efforts to get his remorse across
She feels betrayed
She feels better with time and the wheel of her life starts to roll

I thought that was all in the past and said to my friends
And to myself
“I have only cheated one person in my life”

I was disturbed by the sarcastic laugh of Time
As maturity arrived with a message that said:
“I came to tell you that when you were cheating on that person, you were also cheating on yourself”
You couldn’t see it then because when the ‘betrayed’ sought for answers and understanding
You went away as you didn’t realize that you would also become tomorrow
A victim of your now actions
Young man. When we cheat on people we cheat on ourselves
Although we notice on the spot that we have deceived and hurt these people, we only notice sometime in future that we have also done the same acts to ourselves
It is like investing in self-sorrow
We inflict now, the pain on ourselves that we’re only going to feel in future
By the time we notice this; often these people we have hurt have healed from the pain
And we’re left with a big hole within ourselves when their success rejects us and their failures hug and kiss us
This is how the see of guilt is conceived and the child of regret is born
Believe this is one child you wouldn’t want grow
Do not plant the seed of deceive on people; it will grow back on you one day when you’re older

Ai Alone, Part I

My name is Robert Wilkinson,
I work for the space agency,
monitoring ongoing missions,
ensuring everything runs smoothly.

I know you have many questions,
and I hope I can answer them well,
but some have asked why Professor Johns
recently went and killed himself.

I’ll explain the circumstances,
but warn, it’s a very sad tale,
born out of his greatest success…
but sadly, all our ‘wisdom’ failed.

See we’ve always had a problem
with computers on our space probes,
good as they are, they don’t know half
of what any old human knows.

They’re not great at improvising,
making decisions on the spot,
and sending signals is so slow…
the speed of light is so much rot!

We often say what we would do
if we were way out there in space,
but bureaucracy bogs us down,
manned missions move at glacial pace.

Everybody afraid of being sued,
terrified something will go wrong...
at this rate it’ll be a thousand years
until we’re up there, where we belong.

But then Professor Johns came up
with a thought that appeared insane,
to make a one-to-one copy
of the basic human brain.

We laughed when we heard his idea,
but he paid no heed to the jeers,
then Johns took a sabbatical,
was gone for the whole of a year.

When he returned he had a box,
what was in it, we had to know,
then he took out a metal brain,
and said,”Boys, say hi to Techno.”

We discovered he’d scanned his brain,
then 3-d printed a copy,
built out of nanoprocessors,
cutting-edge technology.

And when he plugged the strange thing in
we all got the shock of our lives,
an innocent boy’s voice came out
and said,”It’s nice to meet you guys!”

That was how we all met Techno,
who brought such changes to our work,
we now possessed a true A.I.
unlike anything on this Earth.

He was exact, like a computer,
but as flexible as a man,
with a child’s yearning to know,
very soon all of us were fans.

And after two years of testing
we put Techno in a space probe,
he was excited for the chance,
to see all the places he’d go.

Armed with nearly human judgment,
he’d need no program to restrict,
we waited to see what he’d make
of space, and planets fantastic...
