A Greyhound Bus
Scheduled #102 to depart from Jackson, Mississippi
With destination signage for Memphis, Tennessee
The Greyhound Bus Driver was given the signal to depart
Every seat was accounted for and the bus was full
The bus was heading for the highway
Through the downtown Streets of Jackson leading to the journey that would begin

The Miraculous Sky Dive

Soon festive time will arrive
To remind us that Christ’s alive
Celebrate the birth
With much joy and mirth
Praise the miraculous sky dive.

The Miraculous

On a night last month 
a full moon rose above
the city skyline across the bay
and sent its light to dance 
on the water around my feet.
It had traveled a long way
to reach me and seemed as if
it was infused with the miraculous. 
I bent down and scooped up 
a little of the light.
It felt alive,

MIRACULOUS

Do you believe in miracles
Existing without spiracles?
They happen every single day...
Each a blessing - come what may.
Conceived with or without plan,
Miracles have their life span
To make a difference in the world...
Like a boat's sail unfurled.

I come across them as I walk...
Hear them conversing with talk.
Seated - doing what they do...
Standing, and outstanding too.
Potentials capable of

Miraculous Life

It's a miracle, this life inside of me
It's amazing, just the air I breath
Every morning waking
Everyday that takes me
Closer to the day that I see You

It's a miracle, that we're creating
No, not alone, I can do nothing
Without the One, who created you and me
Without God, who created everything

Marvelous! Astonishing! 
Awesome! Breathtaking!
All That God gives me,

We can sit and question how everything is this way
We can understand, yet feel powerless every day
We can rant and rave and vent of such things wrong
But, we must not forget, the strength in  beauty of a song
The one thing that connects us all, is creativity around

Divine art  possess who operates
the prodigy of wetting the water
burn the fire
and warm the sun
in deep winter

I am a bird in miraculous flight
Looking down upon everything in sight
As the land rushes by, I take a look
Flowing like the water in the brook
I am free, breathing air in the sky
A natural ability, I don’t question why
I land where I choose, flying down below
I watch the actions of the fellow crow

Oh, Miraculous Muse!

Let me give my muse voice when its whispers are free
(if it sings loud and clear), when I struggle to grok
what’s revealed to my ear, when I reel with the shock
of a poem’s word choice, can’t agree to agree.

Let me pour my heart into my muse’s intent,
all volcanic eruptions of rhyme and free
