Meany Poems | Examples

Premium Member Woody Woodpecker

Woody Woodpecker happily pecks in his tree-house decent,
mean landlady Meany evicts him, for he doesn’t pay the rent.
So, he plans his antics, stops real estate to sprawl in his forest,
tricks Lance, the harassed lawyer, to gift him a new tree-nest.

(Lyrics written to the tune of: "That Old Black Magic" *NOTE: Maintain forward tune throughout all six stanzas; last three stanzas don't revert to original tune wherein, tempo change)

That old hat trick just didn't go so well,
That old hat trick had socked me to a bell,

Those icy fingers up and down my wool,
Came from that old schoolmarm
taught at their high school,

The sound of jingle that you hear in me,
It's the time that bell had just broken free,

Down and down deeply,
round and round in me,

They'll try to have it free,
and done quickly,

goes bye bye I, drops me
washing-meany ...

Game Set Regret

Isn't it getting harder by the day

To supposedly know or try to figure out

Exactly who or what to believe

To the point it's just as easy now to say

Genie
Meany
Curly
Mo

So many choices but which 1 exactly
should I take or make , in order for me
then to follow

The Rule's
The Guidelines
Or
The Example being Set

All 3 are a gamble the only
difference is the odds they give

And whether or not you are prepared
at the end of the day

To suffer and live with the eventual
consequences of the bad choices you
make lead up to

Even be that debt to be repaid spelled
out in no uncertain terms spell's this

R
   E
     G
       R
         E
           T

"Eeny, meany, miney, moe"
"We all fall down and go boom"
"Oops a daisy" and "Shake a leg"
And my favourite, "Silly baboon"

Heard 'em all a million times over
Oh to go back to those days
Just to experience the fun again
The oh so simple games we played

Not a solitary care in this old world
We'd come in for lunch and dinner
Then off we'd go exploring again
After all, we were just beginners

Experiencing new things every day
Like skipping rocks on the pond
The joys of the world were around us all
It was like waving a magic wand

It's really too bad we have to grow up
Do serious adult like things
I'd much rather travel way back in time
And jump and skip and sing

Prayer of Matrimony

May your days be long and happy
in God's own tender way
may your roads be all up hill
leading onward day by day

May the Lord watch and keep you
staying close so not to stray
may you have a blessed and happy life
in a world so full of strife

May your life be meany rainbows
always cheerful, always gay
may your heartaches be only minor
in God's holy name i pray.....

Father Time

Time will heal a broken heart
or so they say, but how meany
times can one heart be broken
then survive?can time turn
back the hands of a clock?
to sunshine,smiles and
I love you's?
can father time step in
and work yet another
miracle of healing?
can time unlock the door?
or melt a heart that's froze?
and can time stand by me
just one more time?
can time bring back my laughter?
and the joy to be alive
and can I survive.. this time?
time! never enough time
always the wrong time
all kinds of time
but never a happy time
it takes time to make things
grow, it takes sunshine, rain
but take away the time, the sun
then give only the pain
then nothing grows
now replace the rain with tears..
there"s no time for me
no laughter, or sun only tears
of sadness of what's been done
time of heartbreak, time of woe
always time, but never the right time
so step in Father Time
I need you, one more time..
yet another time...
just one more time....

Heartbreak Hill

Come with me
while we take a trip
down this road
and up this hill
the first few miles
I wanted to skip
I started out strong
but lost my will
on this road called
Heart Break Hill...
as I looked back
I could see my friend
matching my stride
we wanted to win
now how meany times
have we faced this hill
and how meany ways
can we be fulfilled
we gave it our all
we faced this plight
then left behind
our fears at last
our journey's done
we've run this race
with blood and tears
we've kept the pace
not first, not last
we knew the drill
on this road called
Heart Break Hill.....

Tongue Tied With a Tiki

Tongue Tied with A Tiki

What I did was to take off my tiny tiki,
And what is left on body was my bikini,
Told by tone,
A party thrown
On an island where men are a Meany.

Halloweenie, Halloweenie It's, a meany, scarey time
tonight. Children dressed like scarey creatures, wagging features, will
you get home safe all right. Thunder rolling, mind controlling.
Is this what the Goulies do? Wish, Wish get on the disk, it's a scarey time tonight.

Premium Member Naughty

Never have I seen a boy
            As awful as my brother.
            Ugly meany took my toy.
            Gonna go tell Mother.
He'll tell her I took his dime.
Tattles on me all the time,
Yells 'bout one thing or 'nother!

Last Chance

She was d ice maiden,
Narcissism in full glory,
Bt behind her evry action,
Der was an untold story,
She had luvd a lil too much
Nd betrayed by one too many,
Wic had shaped her as such,
Dat she was cynical nd meany,
Relationships she now shuns,
Her quest for luv was all done,
Luv was now only for fun,
She was lonely, yet wanted no one...

Den came a devil in disguise,
Wid d most beautiful, glossy eyes,
Descending from d red tinted skies,
To evry lady in town ,he told lies,
D prettiest of dem, he wud chase
Winnin dem ovr wid gems and lace,
He took his fill frm each by turn,
The used ones den ,he wud spurn,

A chanced encounter between dem occurs,
And sparks flew frm both corners,
Cud he be different,he thought frm afar,
Nd der he felt his heart acting bizzare,
For her,he vowed to giv up his lust,
For him, she was again willing to trust,
It was a game of seek and chance
A chance to let go,nd find real romance,
Do dey find heaven or do dey find hell,
Only time shall tell, only time shall tell...

Premium Member Green Meany

She stood innocently picking her nose
Wiped green slime upon mummy’s pretty clothes
When her mum saw the mess
Even she will confess
That mum and daughter almost came to blows

Apologies for the subject .... but the challenge by John Wulf was to come up with a limerick to use with his picture
