Heartbreak Hill

Come with me
while we take a trip
down this road
and up this hill
the first few miles
I wanted to skip
I started out strong
but lost my will
on this road called
Heart Break Hill...
as I looked back
I could see my friend
matching my stride
we wanted to win
now how meany times
have we faced this hill
and how meany ways
can we be fulfilled
we gave it our all
we faced this plight
then left behind
our fears at last
our journey's done
we've run this race
with blood and tears
we've kept the pace
not first, not last
we knew the drill
on this road called
Heart Break Hill.....
