Premium Member The King's Gift

In a world that looks for something more –
In a package, in a store…
Remember to look beyond the material,
Toward the imperial…

Because it happens to be true,
The King of Kings has come to you,
Offering salvation and a guarantee…
His gift to us is completely free!

In a world that looks for gifts beneath the tree…
Look into your heart and choose the gift that’s free!

Premium Member Sometimes

Sometimes I don't understand
the things you say or do
Sometime your words leaves me a little blue
At times I misunderdstand the look in your eyes
But my heart tells me you speak no lies
When I look into your heart.
When I'm holding you next to me
I've loved you from the start
and this I know you can see
May I stand there next to you
In the forever
Shall we be together
Walk hand in hand through good times and even sad.
Just being with you. It couldn't be all that bad

Premium Member Desert Rose

In the warmest of weather and harshest of conditions
lives a special rose
You see... she carries herself with a smile
everywhere she goes

It's peace she seeks to make
between every woman and man
and even for the youngsters
who yet to understand...

that this world that we live in
can be more than endless war
it can be love amonsgst brothers and sisters
where peace is an even score

The message that this desert rose has
is a simple one for you
that if you look into your heart
you can be a special rose too

Premium Member Courage

It takes courage to take that first step.
Look into your heart for it will always,
stay true whatever decision you make.
You are your own person and therefore,
You must always look to your spirit guide,
For they will show you the true,
Path which guides you.
You will always have support and love,
For those people who truly love you.
But remember this journey you must,
Travel will be yours alone.

Premium Member Letting Go

Letting go,
You must look into your heart.
You must look into your very soul.
Your eyes tell it all.
You are heartbroken.
She has left you,
There was no warning.
Days you just wake up,
Unfeeling, not breathing, just not alive.
Your friends sense it,
They know you are nothing,
But a shell of a woman who,
Yearns for something that is,
No longer there.
You know in your heart and soul,
It is over and you can feel it.
The realization sets in and,
Crushes your very soul.
You let her go.
You say goodbye just so you,
can breathe again and start to live.

Time To Decide

You stand now on the threshold;
It shouldn't be too long.
Till you're a man, my Grandson;
Valiant, tall and strong.

But there are many choices;
In our country brave and free.
We wait and watch and wonder
Who you will decide to be.

Will you find that you are happy?
Will others think you're kind?
When you look into your heart
Just what is it will you to find?

Will you help feed those who are hungry?
Will you help those who are weak?
With a heart full of compassion?
Is it Christ that you will seek?

You are loved my dear sweet Grandson;
You are far more than you know;
But you must decide;
The way you will go.

There choices that are yours alone;
And soon we shall see;
It's up to you in manhood;
To decide who you will be.

Premium Member A Well Read Red Heart

The media paints the heart bright red
but in reality, that's not always true
life comes along to knock us down
even falling in love isn't just I do

Take a look inside that heart
look deep way right down
your hands can't reach that depth
take your emotions off that frown

You have a heart far from physical
its effects you only can feel
so deceiving they are at times
even you would love to steal

Read read and read it again
reach out your hands only to fail
no operation can reveal it bare
but its effects leave you pale

Is your heart coloured pure red?
or is it deceiving your own very self
take a closer look into your heart
must be appealing or be left on the shelf

( A look at the Red heart symbol that the media paints so much of love and trying to look outside the box of that love symbol which may not be all it's painted to be.)

Premium Member Let Us Begin Instructing the Ignorant

To speak a truthful opinion correctly dressed
attacked by false faces clearly visible hate
trying to shut down facts crying victim's
Judgemental liars falsely claiming right's
let's look into your heart and see who pulls the strings
Firstly you support human sacrifice
from there on in everything uttered is cornered
becoming a lost cause when it boils down to lecturing
shape shifting words that overturn
the righteousness of our cause and beliefs

Worthless views push agendas overshadowing the truth
then with branding irons enslaving good values
biting with venom hook line and sinker
taking a back seat as you begin war cursing honesty

This battlefield lawless in its behavioural patterns
accuses those caring virtues of being on the opposite side of the coin tossed here where wisdom holds ground
when clearly they are spinning out of control
condemning those of us trying to save them

This split in the tongue clearly is trapped morally corrupted
begging your forgiveness under blindness
take a long hard look in the mirror reflection bitterness
we are all sinners at the end of the day
a firm purpose of amendment brings you closer to the light

Never Mind Your P's and Q's

Never mind your P's and Q's
You should be concentrating on your H's
And turning them into action plans.

You can start with Words like Humanity,
Or Humility,
Humbleness is another that cries out suitability,
And don't forget Hospitality,
Or that being Humorous is an essential ability.

I Hope my words you will heed,
If you find it hard,
Just look into your heart,
And you will find Love there waiting to give you some help

Premium Member A Kind of Winter

A Kind of Winter

Never to see you turn and smile
or smell your rain-wet hair
or feel your hand or hear your voice
or look into your heart-full eyes

or hold you when you cry
'til Sun and laughter come again
is a kind of Winter,
as now when city, meadow, river field

are numb with cold and lashed by rain
that bends us in rebuke
of our too prodigal Spring.
But Sun and Spring will come again

painting trees and flowers, grass and sky
green yellow red and blue
and water freed from snow will dance
seaward through the clover fields

past celebrating birds to sunlit shore
where my wildly beating heart
searching horizons of blue sky
someday may see your homeward sail

sparkling whitely at farthest edge
of the infinite blue-green, dancing sea.

The Search For Yourself

Look into your heart and there you will see
That the truth's not really that very far,
The hopes and needs that you consistently
Deny and hide from, make up who you are.

Reasons for life are not found in a star,
You were made to be with God forever,
And the search ends.... when you meet the Savior.

If Only

If they could look into your heart
and see what I see when I read
 your awesome poetry,
 they would never stop
 telling you, what an amazing
 person you are.

If they could see your love for God
they would see the person who is
at least trying to be a better person
 then they would never stop
 apologising for not noticing
 before now.

If they walked one day in your
shoes they would feel the pain
you feel, cry the tears you shed
and never ever let one more day
 go by without telling you
 you are the best.

When I Look Into Your Eyes

When I look into your eyes
I see my precious child
When I look into your heart
I see the love you have for me

When I watch your hands move
I see my grace and mercy flow out
When I watch your feet move
I see an army of angels walking this land

When I work through your eyes
I show you a need
When I work through your heart
I see your heart filled with compassion
When I work through your hands
I see the faith you have in Me
When I work through your feet
I see a companion walking beside a lonely friend

Find Your Way

The road of life can be hard to bear,
but look into your heart and don't despair.
For God loves you each daughter and son,
no matter what you have done.
His spirit guides you through day and night,
look inside yourself you will see his light.
In your darkest hour bow your head and pray,
and he will help you find a way.

I hung my verses in the wind,
time and tide their faults may find . . .

 . . . . . Ralph Waldo Emerson, Poet

________________

As my eyes drop,
I look into my weeping heart,
and send words adrift in time and tide.

I, a ship that through,
the ocean glides,
seeking a secret star to guide the way.

The storms of life,
has shadowed my journey,
off course, roaming, far adrift and lost.

I float in darkness,
and hidden are the perils,
my aching tears become part of the mist.

Yet, I still have hope,
that life will be bright again,
with lovely lights instead of deep grief.

My verses floating,
my words a secret trembling,
with only time and tide as their destiny.

"Fool!" said my Muse to me,
"look into your heart and write!"

. . . . .Sir Philip Sidney, Poet
