If Only

If they could look into your heart
 and see what I see when I read 
 your awesome poetry, 
 they would never stop 
 telling you, what an amazing 
 person you are. 

 If they could see your love for God
 they would see the person who is
 at least trying to be a better person
 then they would never stop
 apologising for not noticing 
 before now.

 If they walked one day in your 
 shoes they would feel the pain 
 you feel, cry the tears you shed
 and never ever let one more day
 go by without telling you 
 you are the best.
