Ah, sad we shouldn't throw
the smallest joys
in the drawer of forgetfulness,
don't good souls
search for God and spend time
watching those rainbows
that change glow?
Isn't His hand adding a divine touch?
To whom do we pray
when we are left with the last dime?
It's the smallest joys,
make us happy,
it's the laughter on our faces
that create spontaneous feelings,
nothing can return to its past glory;
there's no need to run after them:
they are forever ours
in that realistic dream!
We must defend
what we love for our sake,
so harsh is reality...
when we stay awake,
it stares at us
and we pretend to be
in perfect harmony!
The smallest joys
make us happy,
it's so miserable to be crappy;
the silliest words
blend with our gestures:
it's the free exchange of emotions!
Oh the joy that will rise
When our lives set.
Oh the joy that will shine
When His radiance crests.
Oh the joy that will thrill
When our home is addressed.
Oh the joy that will last
When forever we are guests.
Oh the joy that will flow
When in white, we're dressed.
Oh the joy that will burst
When with God, we will rest.
Oh to be in England
With joys on takeaway
When spring has cast magic
That glorifies each day.
Many seaside places
For summer holidays
North, east, west and down south
A kaleidoscope of stays.
Autumn comes, leaves then fall
Pretty carpets they lay
Beneath the barren trees
To feed new growths way.
Winters bring on beauty
One could not downplay
The scenic wonderland
That brighten earth's display.
England’s many voices
Accents in wide array
O’er towns and countryside
That charm dialogues sway.
Ah, sad hearts
we shoudn't throw
the smallest joys
in the drawer of forgetfulness:
don't good souls search
for God and spend time
watching those rainbows
that change glow?
He's there adding His divine touch!
To whom do we pray

Naught seems so beautiful O as to see
Winter-wilted greens tender shoots to bear,
Thrushes in tune, triumph of trickery,
That see their eggs getting free foster care
Which, lets her sing through all summer till rains,
Flowers when bloom at their creative best,
The mood all around knows when no restrains,
To see the season reach climaxing crest.
But why, why all this juice and so much joy?
Harsh summer waiting is on ready wings,
Awaiting its reign this mood to destroy,
Yet, seasons’ beauty ends not just with springs,
E’en joys of rich monsoon turn unto cloy
That as ere ‘pon earth Eden’s delight brings.

Compelled I’m to steal
Joyful moments never rife
That life opts to deal
Me. Joys fade as edge of knife
And those stolen ease my strife.

Flaming wicks atop candy cane sticks
mirror holiday revelers’ delight
Their joy shattered instantly
~ flash-mobs alight and unite
I wish to see smiles on your face.
They shall appear by Father’s grace.
As you travel down human miles,
on your face, I wish to see smiles.
May joy reside deep in your heart.
I pray God blesses all you start.
Dark and light both lifelong abide.
Deep in your heart may joy reside.
Stop life from fooling with joy’s strength.
It has an endless width and length.
Pain and joy are same class schooling.
With joy’s strength stop life from fooling.
I long for gleaming feels in you.
Always tell yourself what is true.
All hearts have emotions that store.
Gleaming feels in you, I long for.
Kaleidoscopic Life
Life is ephemeral
Like rainbows in the sky
With tints of joy and pains
Of sorrows and sadness
Wrapped as gift embracing
Diversity of hues.
Brenda has a big bottom,
it causes quite a wake
as she swims toward me.
Soft girl steaming up to my ********
chuffing like a tugboat,
mouth as wide as a catfish.
Such things are not written of
nearly enough.
My Old Indian Beech frontyard tree
My evergrowing songbird family
My chair by inherited shelf of books
My circle of virtual mentors from
Whom I learn at my time of ease
The sweet beach I call home
The park illuminating the night
The ocean surrounding our lives
The siblings I fight, reasons unknown
This is my life, my sweet beach life
I once thought I was a renaissance man
Who needed sophistication in my plan.
Joy seemed to reside on the highest bar
One day I unexpectedly tooted and felt pure delight
And I realized joy is free and right there in plain sight.
I love dancing to express, show and share my joy.
I revel in singing to the music, enhancing my mood.
Fashion, an aesthetic work of art is fun, I truly enjoy.
As a foodie, eager to try, seek out new or best food.
As a writer, I like emotive language … I am not coy.
Wed young- three babes I had by twenty-four.
Part-time, earned a B/A in English, and
my poetry and paintings seemed to soar.
More joys when five grandchildren grew, expand
to five dear great-grandbabies, I adore.
