Colors Between Time

A GATE of twilight, where hues begin their slow descent.
The fading light, a JEWEL caught in time's soft hand.
A SHADOW falls, a silent, whispered, deep MUTTER.
Through time's vast GATE, a spectrum's memory flows.
A MUTTER of rust and gold, where moments interweave.
The JEWEL of dawn, escaping night's dark SHADOW.
And time's own GATE, where colored echoes softly hover.

Planets by sparks

When iridescent light collided with dark matter you were conceived. (Again)
In places of decadence beyond my perception, we interweave.(Event)
Saturated with strands of fiber from the great traits handed on
from the souls that speak without words aloud, but are glean, nundating and heard.
The transition we vaguely recall in our dreams as bairn sprits.
That reminds that we are small, that we travel forever in time.
Heading towards wisdom gained and amassed in collection, ( destination)
we stay a course towards becoming more than we can dream.
As we try to recall each time it occurred, it fades away like seasons.
Yet, I feel the grains filling the trug of my heart and mind.
Once the star is born, fusion becomes life, becomes red, becomes white, then becomes darkness.
The circle continues and begins again with a conscience remembering of all that is gained, all that is lost, and all that we'll become. (Sparks)

The last rays of sunshine disappear
as the dark clouds interweave,
The show ends, and the crowd leaves,
Left behind were dashed hopes and
unfulfilled dreams scattered on the
ground,
Next to the exit door was this unfulfilled
dream, unwrapped and unbound.

An unchivalrous Knight abandons his
Lady Love, breaking his promise,
severing their bond,
Searching high and low, he was nowhere
to be seen and nowhere to be found,
He left behind a once cheerfully bright
soul, like a Spring Blossom, in a sea of
tears drifting far and wide.

Her shattered heart helplessly looks
on as memories slip like sand
through fingers,
And while feelings of betrayal and
abandonment still lingers,
In the garden of her heart where love
once lived, silence blooms,
Her body, painful and lifeless, cries
out in agony from grief and sadness
that looms.

Seeking solace, she looks for a way
to escape and a place to hide,
Finding none, her heart cries silently
knowing she must endure and muster
the courage to take the next stride.

The desolate wasteland of trepidation traversed
by my jagged life that strived relentless for so long
to smoothen the innate angularities of serrated mind,
swirling in the egregious whirlpool of sucking indignation.

Siphoned into sordid abyss of despondent delirium,
I searched out for myself a pathway of passion within,
leading through the pulsating portal to my affable heart,
not yet frozen passive in the prolonged winter of desolation.

The spring of longing came with fragrance of fervor,
floated on the dreamful wings of fleeting emotive time
across the flush of my floral heart where you had flittered
like a butterfly creating the cadence of chromatic symphony.

The concert of the mesmeric music of my yearning,
refrained the rhythm of concealed current called love,
that rolled between you and me to interweave us forever,
as engrossed emotions danced with the ripples of rhapsody.

Azure Dreams Unfolding Westward

In the dance of thoughts, we twirl,
a symphony of whispered musings.
Words, delicate as a butterfly's kiss,
flutter from our lips, sometimes exquisite,
sometimes in the gentle decay of letters.

Oh, how we interweave with the tapestry
of our innermost reflections,
uttering soliloquies to the silent echoes.
Each syllable, a gem of contemplation,
we carefully place within the gardens
of afterthoughts, a secret burial ground.

Speak, ethereal Shadow,
your stillness a reflection of my motion,
a silent dialogue in the theatre of existence.
You breathe life into ages I struggle to fathom,
yet here, in the rhythmic cadence of breaths,
I persist, a witness to the art of living.

"The world unfurls, a canvas of cerulean,
moving in tandem with clouds and oceans,
westward to east, a celestial waltz."
Such is the grandeur of our cosmic ballet,
where time pirouettes in endless grace.

Family, My Safe Place

I believe in a sovereign Father God,
His Son, Jesus' virgin birth
the Holy Spirit - these three I applaud.

I believe God has a family plan
safe place for a husband and wife
creating children as they form a clan.

I believe moms work hard to satisfy
what households need. Dads get jobs to supply
the basics: food, clothes and shelter thereby.

God works in my world to interweave
blessings of fam'ly which we daily receive,
a safe place with Him in whom we believe.

I believe when I see a toddler try
balancing on feet with arms raised
trusting mom and dad ready on standby.

Because children learn by not giving up,
parents learn by treasuring family -
God's special place, safe within His hands, Yup!

Premium MemberSerenity

Serenity- that bliss we long to find-
and one that's filled with blessings from above
to calm the soul and heart via the mind.

Serenity is often stirred by love
in sharing, giving back all we receive
and knowing what we get, we're worthy of.

Serenity takes place when we believe
that faith is what true peace is built upon;
uplifting it with strengths they interweave.

Serenity relies on hope to spawn
the inner calm that each new day may bring-
filled with tranquility from dawn to dawn.

Serenity- our gift to grasp and cling-
and balance well- life's happiness and sting.

Premium MemberGrief

First tears do heat and drench the cheeks, flesh weak.
A London fog rolls in and life seems gray.
You can’t make a U-Turn, can’t find your way.
Without the love of one, bright days are bleak.
Energy drained, no words - it’s hard to speak.
In church - it’s hard to praise, it’s hard to pray.
Memories caged - mourners, what did they say?
Words near but far away - the muddle’s Greek.
But tears, they dry, they cool - hard to believe.
Except long years - to breathe - hard to be brave;
became two of a kind - soul’s interweave.
Some can’t overcome grief - dig their own grave.
The truth is this: of death we’re all naïve.
We can’t prepare ourselves for the shock wave.

Premium MemberCrossing the Thin Line

Perchance, you come to me in dreams
So vividly I perceive you to be a reality,
Could I not possibly fall in love, it seems.

Or, possibly that we do live in a duality
Where lives coalesce and interweave,
So vividly I perceive you to be a reality.

I realize how difficult it is to conceive
That dreams are an alternative dimension,
Where lives coalesce and interweave.

Interweaving takes place without dissention
So focused are we on the here and now,
That dreams are an alternative dimension.

Perhaps my vision of you shows me how
Crossing the thin line, we often ignore
So focused are we on the here and now.

You came to me as you have done before
Perchance, you come to me in dreams?
Crossing the thin line, we often ignore
Could I not possibly fall in love, it seems.

Premium MemberThe Effects of Binge-Watching

Many times I’ll watch a show,
Enough to say I’d binge.
Gone away, my mind will go,
And slowly off the hinge.

Watch enough, the show will lend,
An accent to my voice.
What that is, it will depend,
Upon my viewing choice.

Southern drawl or British twang,
Perhaps a little latin.
Simulating mobster slang,
Like I’m from Manhattan.

When I drive, I double take,
At what could be revealed.
Dragons flying by a lake,
Or zombies in a field.

Doctor shows make me believe,
That I should be one too.
Conversations interweave,
A surgeons point of view.

So I have to rearrange,
My mind to what I know.
For my brain can often change,
When binging on a show.

Spring 2

Bird song symphonies
Interweave through trees
Adorned with blossoms.
The land, a mosaic
Of nature's splendor

The doting eye
Of the sun lands
Upon the blush
Of red dogwoods

Skins are out
Earthy smells
Cling to me

The days
Become

Lazy

My heart's a universe of galaxies;
each one is filled with blessings from above
by my dear God- who knows no boundaries.

Of three heart galaxies- one's filled with Love
by which I try to share all I receive;
I pray God's joys of Love- I'm worthy of.

Another galaxy helps me believe;
His gift of Faith is what life's built upon.
Faith circles Love with strength- they interweave.

My galaxy of Hope revolves to spawn
its sunny rays on darkened paths- disperse
to keep my spirits high from dawn to dawn.

Love, Faith, and, Hope fill my heart's universe-
with galaxies of joys that intersperse.
