Crossing the Thin Line

Perchance, you come to me in dreams So vividly I perceive you to be a reality, Could I not possibly fall in love, it seems. Or, possibly that we do live in a duality Where lives coalesce and interweave, So vividly I perceive you to be a reality. I realize how difficult it is to conceive That dreams are an alternative dimension, Where lives coalesce and interweave. Interweaving takes place without dissention So focused are we on the here and now, That dreams are an alternative dimension. Perhaps my vision of you shows me how Crossing the thin line, we often ignore So focused are we on the here and now. You came to me as you have done before Perchance, you come to me in dreams? Crossing the thin line, we often ignore Could I not possibly fall in love, it seems.

"Crossing the thin line, we often ignore So focused are we on the here and now." - I never can figure out why so many think the physical world is anything really.

Same goes for being so materialistic, especially since we can't take anything material into the next dimension.

"To sleep, perchance to dream..." Shakespeare gave Hamlet those haunting words and you have used them well in your wistful lines of finding love inside a dream. Lovely write, Milt. I have sent you soup mail.
