THREE MINUTES TO DONE

THREE MINUTES TO DONE

Do I first bring water to boiling point
To time the egg from that moment on
Or from cold, to then be soft not hard
That one might be tempted to discard
But plonked in a cup, the magic’s gone
And then with a woollen cap to anoint

Not poached nor coddled, just boiled
A simple egg, with soldiers for dipping
And on the shell, one may draw a face
Then beheaded, incurring no disgrace
A clean knife cut, without any slipping
But brutally smashed, it’s easily spoiled

A delicate teaspoon must be provided
To dig into the white but after the yolk
A touch of salt and that’s quite enough
Leaving it smooth inside, never rough
It is a simple breakfast for simple folk
Three minutes is perfect, once decided

I woke up this morning between dust and wonder lust

 I woke up this morning between dust and wonder lust
 And I confessed to the screen presence of a prodigy in my monitor
 "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?"
  I also remember the exact line, often than not
  with her wrinkled skin, or his a bit trembling hand on the steering,
  Here they misunderstand too early
  There is a probability of an unseen Beatrice everywhere, everyway
  And all I understand
  Old people love early
  And the love is gold
  And a parable is paying the dues
  incurring later angels with your electricity bills
  finding bad dark spots on your teen aged girl's skin.
  Who is growing up, on a day, you did, way before
  She hears a boy in response. A SOUND!
  When she said, hi!
  And he roared with his bike! O my! O my!
  The world is loud with breaking the disputed law
  that rings God's Gospell in a spell binder!

Premium Member A Gentle Pen

Grace, with it’s gentle pen, writes hope
across my heart, in trembling ink
promising me that I can cope,
knowing His love is the one link..

erasing all my doubts, stirring
grace, with it’s gentle pen, writes hope
into my soul, still incurring
melodies of light who elope

with Him, there’s no reason to mope
or remember the sins long gone
grace, with it’s gentle pen, writes hope
and love to which I’m always drawn

His light sings gently to my heart
thanks to Him, I’ll not have to grope
for the kindness that won’t depart
grace, with it’s gentle pen, writes hope

Premium Member Eve

Eve was the one woman not born of a woman.
Was she then a magical sprite or a demon?
No, she was a unique creation from the rib of man.
Meticulously fashioned as per God’s special plan.

She became Adam’s companion and mate.
His sense of loneliness she did abate.
In the Garden of Eden, they rambled free.
In its centre there stood a fruit laden tree.

God forbid them from eating its fruits.
But Satan told them, it had great attributes.
Fools they were to fall into his temptation,
They ate it incurring God’s condemnation!

Bill Robbins

A man that came between us,
Bill Robbins,the stranger;
Called *the shallow tongue*,
Digs out even the hidden secrets;
Erases the most needed words;
Fills up the spaces with flames.

Going forth till his grave time,
He is firm that he still reigns;
Incurring no expenses for his household;
Judging everyone else under his care;
Kinetic forces rid us of him for a moment!

Lame excuses always on his lips,
Mimicking the old gone king Saul,
Not new to bribery and hypocrisy;
Oh Bill Robbins,when will you leave our presence?
Peering into your life history,
Questing you for a true definition of a man;
Relieve me of this heap of investigations!

Silently walking past you in the midnight rain,
Treat me like your blood, for you took all I had;
Unveil that which you keep from us,
Validate that destruction was all your work;
When the time comes,leave our lives forever.
"X" shall ever be the title to your name,
"Z" will always zip our memories of your remembrance!

Look In the Mirror

Our parental will has been broken
The dreams we had for our children are lost
We had the best of intentions
Now we’re incurring the cost

It happens so slowly
We coddle them and let them cry
We called it intuitive parenting
I call it Lord of the Flies

We selfishly rescued our children
We didn't account for the development of their brain
We wanted them to have better
So we robbed them of the growth that manifest from suffering and pain

We’ve validated their flawed positions
We monetarily reward their emotional truth
We don't want them to be hurt or embarrassed
So how dare you point out another view

Forever we've condoned their behavior
We’ve defended by saying boys will be boys
Now we pay for an efficiency apartment
Young adults with video toys

They say when a child does wrong
It’s the parents we should blame
Take a look in the mirror
Perhaps this is why they rarely change?

fully cognizant
           of what is fair and just;
      doing exactly that without fear,
or while incurring the slings and arrows
             of fierce opposition.
      that's what "moxie" looks like!

Love Vs Lust

Love renders us to bloom.
Lust stifles us into gloom.

Feeding food with care is love.
Surrendering body for hunger is lust.

Cajoling for copulation everyday not knowing
the mood of the girl is pure lust.
Accepting the denial of her with smile portrays love.

Smoldering looks stirs the heart:
where in,
Implosion becomes love.
Explosion becomes lust.

Kissing from heart is love.
Fondling from persuasion is lust.

Thus,
Love gives happiness.
Lust kills happiness.

LUST~
Salacious skin always luring to commit the sin.
Hurried lips keeps exploring in hunger to devour the forbidden fruit to seek pleasure, incurring pain.

LOVE~
Penetrating the eyes with delicate gaze,
And thrusting the heart with tender care
paints pure love.

Me:
When you always intend to have coitus..Where comes the love?
Does making love promote love or lust?!

Soul:
If it is exceeds a restricted limit it is supposed to be called lust and not love.

Finally, I would compare love to a soft petal and lust to a spine.

Premium Member When Anxious

When fretting midst pain, hopelessly anxious
Doubt-stricken, spiritually unconscious…
I admit my sin-caused infirmities
Forgetting God so awesomely gracious.

When incurring well-deserved chastisements
Because of futile, worldly entanglements…
I confess my prayerlessness’ status
Neglecting the Lord’s mighty involvements.

When wavering with weariness-attacks
Obviously triggered by arrogance-knacks
I yield my soul to the great Redeemer
Cleaving to Him Whose mercy* never lacks.

*Psalm 69:13 …O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

God Does Nothing Half Way
Written: by Tom Wright

Some years ago God introduced,
A special person to our path;
One whom I couldn’t turn away,
Without incurring God’s wrath;

She became more than a friend,
One over whom oft we’d fret.
Neither time span nor miles,
Ever furnished reason to forget;

We can’t explain this alliance,
Nor do we feign to understand.
We just accept it as God’s will,
You were sent to make life grand.

Sometimes the simplest event,
Changes life’s course one day;
We hope you feel our love for you,
For God does nothing half way.

King Edward The VIIIth, pitiable blighter, abdicated the throne.
He had the hots for an American divorcee - this the Brits would not condone!
He was King for a spell and the paramours continued their torrid romance.
They later wed, he was busted to Duke of Windsor and they settled in France.

Wallis Simpson was middle-class but knew how to climb the social rungs.
She was twice divorced which triggered a legion of wagging tongues.
They met at Lady Furness's digs and Wallie thought Eddie not all that sexy,
But they wed incurring upon The Archbishop of Canterbury a case of apoplexy!

To His Well-Meaning Friend

Had we but oil enough and gas,
All welfare bill would easily pass,
And we’d be spending hard, I bet,
Without incurring any debt.
You, on the Moon, would keep your bees
And tend to Martian refugees;
And I would sleep all day, in mirth,
Upon the lap of Mother Earth.
And I would send such cash to you
As to convert a die-hard Jew.
And I would pay an arm and a leg
To have my raincoat hung on a peg.
And to unpeg it, as it goes,
I’d pay, most gladly, through the nose.
But in my yard, each morn, I see
No oil or gas in front of me.
No one sends manna from the skies;
Not even Salomon the Wise.
Before you give, you first must have:
There are no bulls where cows don’t calve.
It’s good to have a kingly heart,
But spendthrift kingdoms fall apart.
Therefore, as we cannot grow rich
By drilling ground or digging a ditch,
We’d better find another way
To safely make ends meet today.
Let us make haste and use our strength,
For only then shall we, at length,
Reboot our brains, by lies undone,
And set them free, and make them run.

Acknowledge Him
Written: by Tom Wright

Oft times just to get our attention,
A speed bump appears in our path.
Perhaps God sees us starting to drift,
And in danger of incurring his wrath;

Maybe it’s just a directional change,
In keeping with His uncorrupted will;
When we neglect to read our Bibles,
We miss lessons He desires to instill.

Perchance it’s something we’re doing,
Or while facing a gut wrenching choice;
Speed bumps are akin to caution signs,
Meant to slow us so we’ll heed His voice;

Relative Relevance

Relative Relevance

Earth dwelling in her Universal realm
Pulsating with energy in her helm.
Continual evolution in action
Elements and all life in reaction.

Relativity, energy causing an action,
Creating an equal, opposite reaction.
An ever recurring cause and affect
Incurring symmetry, ever perfect.

Since all is energy, ever in motion,
Circular in form, atomic devotion.
Eternally in peace and harmony,
Interacting withal, without money

Hither and thither, and thus to and fro,
Eternally alive; on and on they go.
Used by humankind, vastly to deploy
For industry, war, peace; all to destroy

Eventually, only, one day to return
To Zero Point Energy field's sojourn.
Starting anew, or perhaps even not,
Evermore to remain inept; their lot.
