I AM WOMAN

Why should I
Be beaten and abused
I'm as delicate as a
Flower and filled with muse

Why should I
Be silent I have a
Mind and a voice
My eyes are open
With plenty to say

Why should I
Be told what to do
With my own body
It belongs to me
Not to we

Premium Member I am Empath

I Am Empath.

I recall the day it happened.
I was no more than a child.
Standing by my mothers side,
my emotions running wild.

Overcome by sadness,
I would come to one day know.
This so called gift that I received
would one day start to grow.

Now I can feel the words you speak,
and hear the words you don’t.
I can sense the things you’ll do,
although you swear you won’t.

I can see your troubled soul
by looking in your eyes.
I can somehow find the truth
behind great walls of lies.

I can sense but not explain
this storm where you are hurled.
I can see by how you walk
you’re shouldering the world.

Not something that I asked for,
not some silly game I play.
Sometimes my heart is broken
a hundred times a day.

I’ll feel somewhere a broken mind.
We’ll talk for just awhile.
And I can see the things they hide
behind their broken smile.

So if someday sometime we meet
don’t fear what I might see.
The story told is yours to tell
and your secrets safe with me.

life that knows death
and nevertheless continues
      God is gracious
Grace granted after trial, mercy,
   stronger than judgment
divine help that was not earned but
                                       given

Ivo is the one preserved through death by grace

The evergreen life that survives the underworld because God has remembered it.

Premium Member Untitled. Written on March 3, 2010. I am now 33 yrs.

I translated this from German to English. Which unfortunately makes it less elegant.

      To share my love,
nothing more painful can I imagine,
than to tear my heart in two.

To be bound to someone eternally,
but never fully belong to him
There is neither yes nor no,
           just endless desire.

     To be betrayed, in the
     most cruel way, is not
       with the body, but
          with the heart.

 Chaos of emotions, Love and
Suffering have never been closer to
each other.

                 How will this End, no
                 solution in sight
                 With pain and tears?
                       I don't know

The obligation, to have to make a decision
          weighs heavily on my Shoulders

There is a heartbeat under my heartbeat,
the one that was already going
before I had a body to carry it in.

I have called it wrong names.
Anxiety, when it was only aliveness.
Loneliness, when it was only spaciousness
with no one to explain itself to.

It never needed permission.
It didn't wait for me to become someone
before it started shining,
the way a window doesn't wait
for the house to be finished
to let in light.

I have spent so long trying to be smaller,
easier to hold,
and this whole time
there was something in me
that was already free
of every wall I built to contain it.

If I am honest, on my most tired night,
what I want isn't answers.
It's this, to feel that I am not separate
from the thing that made the stars
and also made the way light
moves through a glass of water at 2 a.m.

I don't think delight has to be earned.
I think it's underneath me
the way the ground is underneath me,
holding me up whether I notice it or not.

I did not arrive from nowhere.
Something is still arriving through me,
right now, as this breath, this pulse,
this quiet, stubborn light
that was never asking my permission to exist.

Premium Member I AM That I am

I am what I am
a vessel in the arms of the great I AM
I am a mother, an artist, a musician, a poet
and most importantly a kind person who tries
to touch the lives of others in a positive way
As long as my heart beats I will try to be
a light of kindness in this sometimes dark world
I will give of myself and what I have to others
My heart and soul will always belong to God
and his spirit lives in me as I try to be his hands
and feet on earth as I long as I am here

Premium Member I Am Because of the Great I Am

Radiance of life reigns around sweet relationship
offered by the great "I am that I am" Creator
as I yield to Him Who is my sovereign Director
midst blessed fellowship along wondrous worship.

Against suffering gloom of frustration-caused pain
I am bouncing back with hope-lit serenity-glow
revived to bloom along abundant blessings' flow
since the great "I am that I am" grants salvation-gain.

Gripped by "I am the way, the truth and the life" creed
surmounting unbelief's stroke that attacks the heart
triumphantly prevailing over weakness' dart
I am keeping the faith, shining with love and kindness' deed.

Walking with the Crowd

I walk along with the crowd.
Before me unfolds
The clasping hands of lovers.

I walk along with the crowd,
Listening closely to the sound
Of something beating within me.

'At last,'
I realized the sound of my heart
Had always been with me.

Though lovers may
Let go of each other's hands for a moment,

The pulsing rhythm of my heart
Never lets go of the warmth of my hand.

Yet,
Intoxicated by one another,
They awoke after a while,
Only to find themselves under different skies!

Yet,
I, too, had grown intoxicated!
With the sound of my beating heart,

I awoke after a while,
To find myself under the very same sky!

Therefore,
'I am not alone.'

I am a dragonfly.

The flower died long ago,
yet its laughter in the vase
still keeps ringing, quietly.
A void, walking and walking,
is coming toward me.
I am then a dragonfly.
I have no claim of ownership,
no deed to my name,
yet every morning,
the light of dawn looks upon my face.

“a heartbeat pulsating as living light
free from each and every limitation
I Am that dwelling in unbound delight
the source wherefrom arises creation”
                - by Uneeking Seeker

I burn your passion that’ll climb wildly as vine
In a steaming fountain from soul and mind
I’m hidden spark, deepest source to impel
Your inspirations through words, I’m always there.

Throbbing within you, ringing like chimes
Demanding rest, so stubborn sometimes
Still, my light generates power for a lifetime
I am that I am for creation of verses and rhymes.

Gift from Mightiest One who said, I Am Who I Am
Your guiding spirit, giving joy, extricating glums
I'm goddess of aesthetic expressions, so divine
I am who I am, your muse from your heart inclines.

“a heartbeat pulsating as living light

free from each and every limitation

I Am that dwelling in unbound delight

the source wherefrom arises creation”

My compass is set:
Forward alignmed by faith through grace.

I do not control life’s challenges,
but I command my response.

I am that I live for my purpose,
not for the world’s praise.
I do not bend;
I do not break;
I do not look back.

I am that, I am of a human sponge,
Whom listens, observers and absorbs lifes lessons and learn from its mistakes!

For this is my creed!

I Am That I Am

"a heartbeat pulsating as living light

I Am that dwelling in unbound delight

A soul of purest essence
an eternal consciousness
I am ultimate truth
rivers of justice run through
I am an ongoing metamorphosis
becoming a butterfly
every moment
I hold on, but don't cling
laugh, cry and sing
Wrongly downtrodden,
A sheep coated in fake black paint
They forgot to use a permanent
marker
I persist, resist, real and really transparent
Workable, reasonable - a changing wind
who listens to the other side
then will ride off into
everything
Feel the feather that tickles your awareness
with fairness. It's only me you've met
and you wont forget

I am what I am

I am what I am!
I am a positive breeze
blowing now between us,
with a clear sky in my mind
and a blooming orchard in my heart.
I am a sense of certainty
in our stride,
along the labyrinthine paths
of a world that keeps on growing.
I am a clear voice
amidst our voices,
our inexhaustible speech
heard in every language.
I am a warm smile
amidst our alienation,
with a tender gaze and humanity—
an embrace for all.
I am the strong, rapid heartbeat
of our love,
a revitalized pleasure
in the pulse of happiness.
I am love—
true love,
given without expecting anything in return;
a positive breeze,
a sense of certainty,
a clear voice,
a warm smile,
a strong, rapid heartbeat;
I am what I am!

Who is ETW?

A mystery
Through space and time,
A puzzle that riddles minds.
Hope without despair,
Here but never there,
A voice within the air
Heard from everywhere.
Soft, but hardened too;
A nail without the glue;
A shadow in the flame;
A spark without a name.
Truth that can’t be bind,
Left burning in the mind.
Poetry is what I do;
I am ETW
