Westbury where skyscrapers scratch clouds,
And backstreet murmur under glowing hum,
The metro slumbers, but terror thunderous crowds.
Laaities hone okapis where mumbled thugs come,
Each gangway a rabbit warren of cries,
And moms grab the dark, awaiting some.
In kangaroo courts blood thirsty 28s and 27s rise,
A revolver roars, the night asks but none says a prayer
While guiltlessness is sold in whispered lies.
Yet in this war,the lane hides myths rare,
Of youngsters who dodge the deep state, running fast,
Their footprints rebound, shivering through the air.
Westbury your skyscrapers check out the die cast,
Each brick a testifier,every lantern a guide,
The twilight is long, but hope remains at last.
The matriarchs of sections keep life supplied,
Their pleading a vein hope under mortar veins,
Where cowards hide, the soul of Westbury won't die
Dear Homeland Security Director No-em
I feel compelled to write you this po-em
They won't let me post bail
Get me out of this jail
I'm not a gang member and want to go ho-em!
My bright and exquisite pink heart-shaped tat
is being mocked by a gangsta in a Maga hat
All hope I must banish
I don't even speak Spanish
My doomed fate is sealed, just another stat
In the Cape flats the bullets are flying
Today people are dying
The gangs are killing
To them it is fulfilling
It is a deed so sad
It can only be done by the bad
The gangs don’t feel a thing
They love the sting.
The gangs are like wild animals
Like real damn cannibals
Running in the street
Wanting to kill whoever they meet
Whether night or day
The gangs will have their way
Even If they have their own way
It is their way night and day.
They smoke weed
Even if there is no need
Like the drugs they snort
Their life will be short.
They live by the sword
And die by the sword
They don’t really care
To them life is one big dare.
They drink a pill
In order to kill
They smoke weed
Because they have a need
They consume a lot of alcohol
Till on the floor they crawl
Harming people is what they do
Heavy drinking is what they do.
In this life they cannot cope
Living a life without hope
Living a life so hollow
There Is nothing to follow.
My perception of the world is illusory art
The darkness is absolute
Women suffering violent abuse
From the one who said, “I do.”
Men and women pushing dope
To innocent souls searching for hope
Carjacking, kidnapping, and kids without a father
Rape, fraud, human trafficking and manslaughter
Women tearing down each other and disrespecting their mothers
Men trample over society causing everyone to suffer
Shackles, chains; imprisoned in the brain
Depression and suicide
The world is insane
Neglected children needing somewhere to hang
“Hey Lil’ Bro come join our gang.”
There in the wake lies the devil’s den
Next level self-destruction surrounded by sin
Drive-bys, Do or die
We are brothers Fam
Lay down yo’ Life
“Do it for the homies, don’t let down the tribe!!”
Now you have a teardrop
For all the bodies that dropped
The executioner's face stays hidden
The judge handed you a sentence
Yet, you hold your head up high
Beaming with empty-headed pride
Because you didn’t snitch
On the one who left skeletons in a ditch
Their crimes stay hidden
The Hood Tale legend
“You can never get out!”

How proud they put them on display
Two thousand of the first of fortyk
There President Bukele did say
They’ll live in the jailhouse for decades
he went on boasting, in jail it’s judgement day,
as he held his glass of brandy toasting
inmates, suspected violent gang members
moved to a new mega-prison in El Salvador
Transferred to the Center of Confinement of Terrorism
Mixed up, unable to do any more harm
to the population, it was said
So why do I care about these souls,
tears flowed as I read the article
about thousands of prisoners, and Bukele in particular
Central American country’s notorious pandillas
And right then I understood why I cried
Hundreds never made it to round two, que pesadillas
There are the innocent ones who are denied
a fair trial, it's sad to think that nothing can be done
for a mother's innocent son
Gangs in our society is a true fact
Intimidating and killing innocent people
Gang members are a menace to society
They breed and attract the criminal element
Gangs in our society are young and old
They sell drugs and commit carjackings
Asked for assistance from the politicians
Our voices not heard, fell on deaf ears
Gangs in our society begins in the home
Disadvantaged, coming from broken homes
Let us not condone and make excuses
Parents need to be more responsible
Gangs in our society, is society's problem
Adults must educate our young people
Family values, church and school is key
This my friends, are gangs in our society
Unique perspective and troublesome times
Underworld the world of crimes
Spinning heads and meaningless cyclone
One throne and King DON
Dark darker darkest night falls
Shivering weekend and daylight calls
Victor The King has balls
Infinite property and furious stalls
Chosen victims and assault guns
Forbidden sins one hundred runs.
Note. illegal riot kiss and dismiss.
Lesson. Law is to lessen crime and Police is to Preserve crime.
Morale. For a thousand years Narcissus has been lamenting its blindness,
With Great difficulty the one with true vision is born in the garden,
Where is that one?

Why do certain people think they're special
When they look similar to millions of others
Why do certain people think they're special
When all they want to do is maim and smother
Why do certain people think they're special
Because they want something someone else has
Why do certain people think they're special
Because they thinks it's their right, just because!
Why do certain people think they're special
When a cloud in the sky is similar everywhere
Why do certain people think they're special
When rain is rain that these said clouds share
Why do certain people think they're special
What do they see when they awake in the morn
Why do certain people think they're special
What have they become since they were born
Why do certain people think they're special?
So, you think gangs are cool,
Are you really that big a fool,
Did I not see you at a rally to make women your equal?
And did you not support a carpool,
To keep children safe from a possible ghoul.
What makes you think gangs will let any woman think they are equal,
Did you not hear about shots being fired at a car that was taking kids,
to school?
Might not a gang member have the potential to become a ghoul,
Now do you still think gangs are cool,
Or are you an even bigger fool.
So, what can you do to show you are no fool,
Without being shot by a ghoul,
If you have kids in school,
Tell them you think gangs are no longer cool,
When they bring drugs to school,
Which if imported could be funding terrorists,
Who are even less cool,
I am sure, there is even more you can do,
If you want women to be your equal,
Your children to be safe at school,
And you have not yet sold your soul.
The sound of guns in ghetto streets
Kill little kids and star athletes
As gangs roam free in August's heat
~ Downtown Chicago's sights are sweet
Three gangs gun packing
Attacked my house on three different days.
The bloods, the crips, and the Chinese mafia
Had my house under attack
Which was in a cul de sac.
It was under siege by Gangs who didn't
Believe they would face a judgment day.
Three gangs gun packing
Took out all my windows, ransacked
My house, spray painted death threats
On my abode, garage, and car in sight at mid day.
The bloods, the crips, and the Chinese mafia
Had my house under attack
All because of a manic
Perpetrator who was a runaway.
Three Gangs gun packing
Didn't know that all of my most precious
Possessions were already outside, and
They didn't care that there was no way that
They could of given them back.
I would of been devastated if they had taken my
Children away.
The bloods, the crips, and the Chinese mafia
Had my house under attack
As a matter of fact
Even with all that was going on I didn't succumb
If I had my life would of been in total disarry.
Three gangs gun packing
The bloods, the crips, and the Chinese mafia
Had my house under attack.

No PEACE
Gangs
i look out the window
guys hanging on corner
slinging nicks
across the street
look outs on high alert
police is a rolling
coke is always flowing
girls turning tricks to
guys to get their kicks
young boys huslting
gays to get their fix
is it a plaque
Is evil bad?
Not from its line of sight.
If you look thru their eyes, darkness is the light.
Knowledge is power, but power is greedy.
Once ultamite has been tasted the desire to control takes over.
But darkness is not understood...
It lures with promises of grandure then rips away that which makes you happy?
So one thinks...
Is evil just the loss of the power to be happy?
For we all know evil and darkness do not bring happiness,
it only burdens us with the stress of the knowledge it provides.
For once you've seen you can't deny.
So then I ask...
Is ignorance the true path to happiness?
For the more we stuggle to understand the less we grasp the purity of true
innocence....
**I wrote this after watching "Gangs of New York"
GANGS ARE RUNNING OUR STREETS,PUMPED UP WITH DRINK AND DRUGS.
WHAT CAN WE DO NOW, TO STOP THESE THUGS.
THE GOVERMENT TOOK AWAY THE PARKS AND ALL THE FUN.
NOW THE KIDS ARE RESORTING TO KNIVES AND GUNS.
WHAT NOW IS THERE FOR OUR KIDS TO DO.
AS THEIR NOT ME AND THEIR NOT YOU.
TV AND COMPUTERS ALL DAY LONG.
NO WONDER WHY THINGS HAVE GONE SO WRONG.
EVERYTHING IS MONEY,NOTHING IS FOR FREE.
THE PARENTS WORK ALL DAY TO EARN THEIR FEE.
WE HAVE GOT TO STOP THE ROT BEFORE IT GETS TO BAD.
OUR KIDS ARE LOSING THEIR LIVES,ITS JUST SO SAD.
KIDS NEED LOVE AND KIDS NEED CARE.
BUT HOW CAN THEY GET THAT WHEN THEIR PARENTS ARE NOT THERE.
