As Gangs Roam Free

The sound of guns in ghetto streets
Kill little kids and star athletes
As gangs roam free in August's heat
~ Downtown Chicago's sights are sweet

"as gangs roam free in August heat" - this says so much in seven words. It is true, that the heat affects the minds, and the gangs do roam free. Scary that assault rifles might be involved too huh? Good one.

You're so right... and a few miles away, millionaires spend fortunes in tony Michigan Avenue shops. Such is our world. :) gw

Wish it weren't so true -- both the gangs and the unbridgeable divide downtown! :) gw
