Don’t smile with me if you don’t want to
Because I am not a mirror
Don’t be like a bluffer who gives me a black smile
In a strange, nervous and abnormal style
Because I am not a josher
Show me the genuine emotions of you
Give me something normal or natural
I am not asking for anything special
Just be yourself and I will appreciate it
Don’t give something unusual and vile
Flash me a normal, sweet and beautiful smile
Don’t give me a lot. I’ll be satisfied with a small bit
Because I want neither a black nor a blank smile
In a strange, white, hypocritical and unusual style
But smile, smile with me, if you mean it
And please don’t, if your smile does not fit.

Wayne followed every traditional route. His ignorant bliss bid others chart his course. Comfort was in knowing all carried precedent form. Locked doors blocking every end. Turn left, then right, again and again. Would they lie? Did they lie?
road trip to nowhere
tradition loss prediction
walking to empty
[Note of feet: Majority of society are followers led by folk they to whom they shouldn't listen. If you can't find your way, you'll end up nowhere. Sort of. ]

Starmer when said 'return of sausages',
He just meant safe return of hostages.
Yet, in this world of words
Where actions are rare birds,
Gaffes rule, tongues slip with faux passages!

Poet’s note: The UK Prime Minister Starmer called for the return of sausages, which soon went viral. Sure, he meant hostages. But in this world of words and words and little action, what else can be expected?

*nocturne eye flicker*
*bite lip*
*rip asunder*
Malediction of a tragedy fused elegy,
mirror of red rum and visage of chaos.
The truth is a labyrinth of mirrors,
I am the reflection that stares back,
real you tryst behind quicksilver.

Shopping during the winter trying
to keep my hands warm by placing
them in my pockets but how can
I carry my purse walking down
lake shore drive the horse carriages
stroll by the geese taking a dive
thee old men playing chess
hot chocolate being served yet
my hands are frozen that's when
I noticed a warm pair of faux muffs
with fleece and down insulation why
perfect I thought the cost were a bit
pricey but my hands are totally warm
now winter is quite brutal nothing like
hot chocolate to make you forget about
just how cold outside it really is today

The real enjoyment is in green,
you’ll love its speaking silence,
play once and you’ll forget the screen
where you innocently learn violence.
Live some precious moments with family,
peep out of the virtual world for once
you’ll get solution to each anomaly
and will reunite with the real loved ones.

For those who lack conviction
Aspirations stay but a mirage
And for those crafting mountains from mole hills
Detriment a deadly barrage
Believers of strange eyes upon them
Flaunt shame as a wristed corsage
And without the courage to soften their hackles
Lie confined in their mind's dank garage
Jongleurs of fabled failures
Treat their worry to massage
Subjecting the rest of their dreadful days
To vexation's entourage
Clever inventors of futuristic fear
Paste pictures to a specious collage
And blame the world around them
Imaginary Sabotage

Sans seed - it’s not Spring now - green grass concealed.
Cute, cuddly happiness with floppy ears.
White rabbits leap, in the fluffy snow field,
when the zephyr and flower disappears.
Plush wings that sink into the angel-snow.
Flapping in the thirst-quenching cold, faux-fur
envelopes limbs with a diamond glow.
Flurries dash from above, brighten dark fir.
Buried halfway - barrow and bicycles,
shrubs and bushes, and children of small size.
Melting ice reshapes into icicles -
nature’s decoration delights the eyes.

For years now, they have survived,
Through deceitful imitations.
Maneuvering within a landscape they
Support, with few limitations.
Yet recently, this crazy fox, seems to be
Running from a pack of legal hounds.
Dodging overgrowth & accountability,
Through some forested, judicial grounds.
This hunt is a lengthy one, stretching
Beyond torn fences and dominion.
As the tireless legal canines progress,
Tailing the scent of lies and opinion.
Ultimately this prey will fall to capture,
Along with its predatory nature, reduced.
While remaining livestock gains some relief,
And the appropriate people, can rule the roost.

Counting out change for a novel I’m buying
picking a title that just went on sale
Turning the page where the margins are crying
only to read of this heartbroken tale
Where is the chapter that speaks of forever
in between lines that my love should have penned
Ink where eternal has now become never
seems the last place one would look for pretend
What’s to believe about fictional findings
words I once thought so incredibly true
Reaching “The End” in these faux leather bindings
knowing the words come to mean, me and you

Don’t forget
I tried and did
My best
I gave it all
And more
Don’t forget
When you
See my picture
That this man
Lived ten lives
Took the pain
Of ten men
But felt the
Love of none
Don’t forget
I was just
a man
Of flesh
And sin
Foibles
And Faux pas
Don’t forget
This man
Was your
Dad

of part one pertaining to my most recent poetic entry (Inexplicable Quirky Memory Unhinged clasp one) unintentionally got submitted twice, and rather than tamper with attempting to delete delicately, (and probably wreak greater havoc then desirable), this generic human male (meaning thy characteristics of body, mind and spirit) lumped within that general category designated as average.
this chap neither exalts in arrogance, haughtiness, orneriness...nor does emasculate, humiliate, lacerate...his being.
tis modesty i strive for despite the (all to quick to judge via initial virtual impression) predicated on my predilection to populate poems (and/or prose) with ponderous pedantic particular pun dit tree.
