Fairing Poems

Insomniac Deteste

A cacophonic silence,
A mere blanch of a catastrophic faliure,
A maroon in a sickening mirage,
'tis a shade one more,
As a ray one less,
Fairing smiles adiue,
Requiem of a chastised face,
Lay a bed,
O'er wond'rous, to waste.

Where'n freshen lie fast in his daze,
Merry may go his hour,
Time shroud.
However vivid,
a weary slumber ,
Is but man's sorry tire,
Weeping sore,
Once dreaded in languishment,
Once cowered behind the stars.

Not an eye unopened,
Nor a God that sleeps.

Those Bikes

Those Bikes
See the goth heavy metal custom motorcycle
Ride past with a long haired rider
Dressed how they should be dressed
Black jeans t shirt denim leather
Low rider chopper as it should be
With twin coffin saddle bags
What a ride to the other side
Give him Devil fingers\M/!
Then there was a classic looking bike
Parked up alone
And I saw two racing bikes
One with a fairing the other naked
Heard his engine as he passed
A man asked me on the bridge
Where am I going?
Planet Mars on a custom bike
With my chick and loud tunes

The Astronaut

I ponder after gazing back at the brilliant blaze and flaming embers ever thrusting forward into the unknown abyss of endless space.
How wondrous and ominous are the surroundings generating an exuberant feeling of being part of this endless place?
Fairing ever deeper into unconquered regions with excitement and anticipation.
Discovering the pure evidence of the great power of light as each star pierces through this dark and wonderous constellation.

Filled with a fire for exploration in search of other sentient beings, seeking that which is a journey of wisdom and knowledge that never ceases.
A never-ending quest to discover new healing technology, or a relative, kin, a friend we have never met as the suspense of anticipation only increases.
There lies within a deep unexplained knowledge of so many events in our surroundings that most are unaware of and simply cannot see.
As even more senses come alive, the feeling of loneliness may set in although never really being alone, for the prime creator resides within the space between every atom, proton, neutron, and cell of everything there was and is to be.

Damned Like a Dain

Damned like a Dain
Memories of your melodies,
Struck my heart like lullabies.
Still feels like yesterday,
When you left me damned.
Damned like a Dain!

When the lips that showers me praises,
Begins to curse me ferociously.
I would close my eyes and
The promised forever that became,
The never ever and smile beautifully!!

When the arm in whose embrace,
I run to begins to push me away.
I will remember like it was yesterday,
When the eyes that sees only good in me,
Doesn't see me anymore.I would tell myself,
It's time to find purpose!

When the legs that takes to it's heels for me,
Begins to take a long walk on a short pier,
I will always remember to take a back seat,
When it comes to you.
This flower emanates potentials now!

I will remember like it was,
Yesterday when I loved,trusted
And cherished myself and I
Was fairing well without you!

Premium MemberA Fugitive She Never Knew

As still as night, her heart aghast,
she pondered of her fellow's fairing,
for word had spread of his capture.
She dreamt of blooming meadows past,
as butterfly spies enrapture
lunch baskets and laughter sharing.
Alas, now shadows are glaring.
A fugitive, she never knew,
throughout each lovely rendezvous,
a swindler with another life
abandoned children and a wife!
Disheartening, the aftermath!
Lo, upon their cobblestone path,
a sennight long, tears filled a bath.
Then yonder from the fog he came,
with perplexing news to proclaim.
From a journey far he'd returned,
and all the while his bowels churned,
consoling greiving family,
yearning for her like no other.
The outlaw that she thought was he,
was his long estranged twin brother!

25cc Moped

25cc Moped
The 25cc moped was so very cool
It had a two stroke 25cc engine
A full body fairing with space
Under the seat for the rider’s helmet
Was fitted with bright LED lights
And a neon digital display for the speed
Not to mention a comfy green double seat
The off road tires were big and chunky
And the body was painted blue
All in all this moped was cool
Even if illegal on most roads
The engine was just too small
But it was fine for the sticker said:
125cc and nobody questioned the lie
Allowing me to ride my moped
Wherever I wanted
At a top speed of 30mph
To whizz on by

Premium MemberRed Herring of Lapsing Time

Fall’s felicitous red herring —
the mystery of leaves morphing.
The autumnal applause fairing.
Verdant heat and daylight dwarfing.

The horologic ticker chimes,
as lines are drawn on pumpkins patched.
Gramps, it’s apple picking time.
The scarecrow’s wise with balding thatch.

Forensic crisp of maple leaves —
children foolishly blinded by
the crimson and yellow dervish
heap...how quickly green does die.

Snowy bonnet soon covers plot —
arthritically profound.
The creaky ice of knees and knots
embellish the grownups’ playground.

Sought are the days of yesteryear —
chirping of birds and childhood friends,
standing aloft swing with no fear,
ascending where sunlight transcends.

I have come to give you life;
Don't be foolish be wise;
Be careful for nothing;
Somethings are fairing;
Don't be afraid
Ashamed of your wrong choices;
You have the power to change;
Renew your mind, heart voices;
Be sincere mercies graces intents;
Forgives when you submit, just sincerely commit
Stop being weary... justRepent

To Live Without a Poem

To live without a poem
Is like life without form,
Poetry is my gene
Intoxicating me like gin,
When my mind becomes ballistic,
I pick up my pen to become realistic,
I will starve greatly if I don't write daily.
I wonder how some are fairing
When they live without daily writing,
Meditation and perpetual reading.
Poetry is a mirror
That exposes societal horror
To live without a poem
Is a life without form.

Where the Ships Go To Die

In the night, all is dark, when the moon can't be seen
when cool air blows lightly, though cooler still it seems
Not a soul in sight nothing living to be found
not even the waves dare to make their crashing sound

When the ocean is silent, when the bay beckons sleep
not even the willows then dare to weep
for tonight is the night the ships go to sleep

Across the waving beachgrass, and through the deadly peaceful night
lies a bay of silenced memories, in a hazy fog of light
here all sea fairing vessels go, when their adventures have gone dry
And so this is the place, the sacred place, where the ships go to die

Compassion

can you see me?
im probably staring
reading all your subtleties
pondering, how are you fairing
why am I caring?
not just a question solo, a pairing
when one asks the other
the answer is wearing
instead of details, or something so particular
take chance to set your stance
to look past the base curricular
when i had it in my head
whats before me was lost
so i sit thoughtless and the process
came creeping like frost
realizations colder than
the tenth of December
a fraction or sliver
turned to silver or better
cause the hint not from squinting
or what someones response is
i can relate in a way
that forces me to be conscious

Time Warp

TIME WARP

I give the facts, you guess the rest:
150 miles to go heading west

Alberta in January - middle of the night
Bound for Calgary, slid on black ice - fright

Damaged front  wheel  bearing ;
Back on highway - noise under the fairing.

Slow down : 120 miles at 60 or so,
Two hours to go

Bearing noise worsens : 80 miles out, drop to 40, you know
Two hours to go

60 miles out, drop to 30….oh no
Two hours to go

Fate had me reach invisible
Time barrier insurmountable

40 miles out, at 20
Bearings died - overheat a-plenty

To Calgary? Not me, ‘twas the car
Which was never fated to get that far.
