Who Would Ever Have Thought


Who would ever have thought 
When written words would finally speak
Topics in form when stanza's script
In the hope two poets finally meet

Then the prospect of writing together
From eight thousand miles, airing
Posts, comments, collaborations
Appraising such, poetry sharing

Who would ever have thought
Touching down, we're finally here
Now seeing a wall of smiling faces
Not here, she soon to me appears

Soon, caring to sharing fairing
Driving through the lush countryside
From eight thousand miles, airing
Knowing our futures now in decide

Who would ever have thought
In the hope two poets finally meet

Hearing the sounds of tiny feet.

Hi Tom, we're doing fine. Married 7 years past June, and Jamie's 5 Dec 24th this year. Sadly, we're not on here much these days, but hopefully back at some point once we get that space to be here, and also write a collab again, as that's what brought us closer. How are you?

And its all true :) we met/collaborated on the Soup in 2014, met in 2015, married in 2016, had Jamie our Son, Dec 2018, and were still incredibly happy in 2023 <3 thx 4 reading and commenting :) xx
