A free verse/haikus
Abused and bemused
So taken advantaged of
Accused…took the blame
Amused by muses
Strifeful peace don’t mix too well
Held on for dear life…
Crippled and confused
Delicately decaying
Bruised feelings…screwed loose…
Collapsed suddenly
Guess this is goodbye for now
Burdened — in a rut…
Cut down the ropes please
Tell me it’s okay…I’ll live
Give or take…at ease
Yet, I’m too nervous
Too fearful of what lies dead…
Dead inside — anxious~
Too afraid to let go
Rather be dead than alive
Feeling so hollow . . .
Here’s two words I feel —
Lonesome insecurities
You are a joy kill
I’m misunderstood
So? — you ask like whatever
Too good to be real…
The trail is lovely here around the bend
The rains of spring have formed a clear, deep pool
God's handiwork, so delicately penned
The red buds, almost hard to comprehend
Adorned in pink and ruby colored jewels
The trail is lovely here around the bend
The crocuses, in purple, to what end?
The foliage, now greening, keeps them cool
God's handiwork, so delicately penned
The robin showing off to lady friend
The salamander naps beneath toadstools
The trail is lovely here around the bend
Mere form eclipsed, here, beauty far transcends
Design revealed to all but blinded fool
God's handiwork, so delicately penned
So much to take in as I slowly wend
My way through classwork not revealed in school
The trail is lovely here around the bend
God's handiwork, so delicately penned

She A Flower So Delicately Blown
Hath there been far more kinder words I said
in my deep-fired angry accusations.
Our romance would have carried on instead
of this dark dungeon of deprivations!
Our first dance had given such treasured fruits
birthing that fantastic ecstatic kiss.
She was a beautiful belle, Southern roots
now so grievously lost, her love I miss!
She a flower so delicately blown
upon eager waiting paradise dreams
Was no way I, the young fool, could have known
we would both fall victim to evil schemes!
Youth, Fate and Time destroyed each loving heart
So tragic, now living lives torn apart!

A LIFE GIVEN BIT NOT TO BE GRANTED WITH BREATH,
GOD TOOK YOU TO HIS HEAVENLY KINGDOM ABOVE.
4 MONTHS IN TIMES SHORT CREATION YOU GREW
INSIDE OF MY DAUGHTERS BELLY UNTIL,
GIVEN WINGS OF AN ANGEL INTO THE CLOUDS FLEW.

OUR LIVES AT THIS PRESENT TIME.
SO WITH GODS GOLDEN STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN
