Friday Night Lights

Faster than a precipitous squall, ivy spreads and climbs the wall.  It's quarried a landlocked structure in Nepal. Through the cracks wails an ominous battlefield call. The preamble of turnacets tied tight by medics to stall as profanities ptyalise saturating gauze deep red with gall.  Hanging the jaws in fascinated appall , rubberneckers congest the receiving friends' line snaking  down the hall.  Perturbation too thick to order from short to tall, the shoulders stacked by chaos wearing a one size fits  all shawl.  So barbwire a  must install to tear  then rake  camouflaged skin off words that underneath crawl. To limit the insidious minifies the  onslaught threatening to befall. Protecting the house sometimes requires merciless law taking only two at high noon to draw.

Premium MemberGrace and Solitude

Oft solitude's a gift I need to seek
when life becomes a circus of events.
And oh, how precious are those few unique
hours I can spend alone as time presents.

These days, this treasured solitude's reversed;
commanded to stay sheltered, safe in place-
away from family and friends- submersed
in finding how I can survive with grace.

This challenge offers time to find new ways
   to shape stiff patterns into supple ones;
use well this stage alone to think, appraise-
live calmer days before my time outruns.

With grace, I bear this solitude prolonged-
now righted as a gift- not feeling wronged.

Women and Ladies

Ladies congest my small town
But women are loudly scarce

Woman personally nurtures family
Lady hires maids to injure family

Woman’s heart dwells in the family
Lady’s heart dwells in the purse

Woman loves populating the village
Lady loves hiding them in private bags

Woman is kind-hearted and loving
Lady is miser-hearted and loathsome

Woman cares for husband intensively
Lady cares of her body intensively

Woman loves people and dies for them
Lady loves wealth and dies for them

A Good Teacher Is Nectar To Learners

a good teacher is nectar to learners
they sip honey from his brain in freedom
and construct knowledge, skills and values

a good teacher is nectar to learners
the slow ones find good time to explore
and select petals to obtain mode for self-reliance

a good teacher is nectar to learners
fast learners peck hidden stigmas of creativity
and build special talents to transform the world

a good teacher is nectar to learners
individual learner scrambles for his colorful petals
to build dignity, self-esteem and self-actualization

a good nectar is nectar to learners
every learner mixes pollen grains and ovules
and cross pollinates the ovules of potentials within

the good teacher is as rare as a four-teat goat
but those who can teach congest streets of learning

Premium MemberPassage

Forge writes that fling pulse that appeal,
Thought ever springs constructs you feel.

Tale from mere vines as words congest,
Savvy crafts lines that sparkles fest.

From here to there and then some more,
Seek twisted fare in shades and shores.

Hints gather tints in colours cheer,
Vivid the mint where strains endear.

Fund passage bold with crafty say,
Page now unfold such slightly sway.

Encode the feel of lost charades,
In time find will in lines you trade.

Unleash the glow of words that come,
Surge, urge and flow prime how feel sums.

Cite if you must the path words swirl,
Soul lives a trust in this rough world.

Confer with time where space allows,
Poignant sounds rhyme with sweat of brow.

Premium MemberThe True Wealth

Your acquisition congest the entire space
in the lane of such prosperity, alone you race
every powerful influence has your distinct trace
with such a charisma conducting so much grace.
Affluence alone cannot repel every calamity
it makes an empty mind close to insanity.
Exclude the great provider, all becomes vanity.

WHEN NERVES AND PULSE CONGEST

Tender are the days brushed with thoughts of light
when yesterday rolling, rolling are the tears...
Jagged nerves and pulse congest in colliding repair,
they... rise to roar beams and rays of medley grace.
Glitters of gold and red cartwheel slow on my face,
I, before filthy shades of earth stand like a knight
to whoever dares, forgetting crime as I fight!
Even to ember flames of days, I... brave to step and chase
for if deep the earths' steep it births you: "my sunshine",
I keep forth to reap a mirth: me being with you.
Black as coal creep, it rebirth night that seeps the signs
but later sun peeps, its smile girths our blues.
To a new life, new day, I faithfully consign
with burning daylight as my sweep leap to have you...

Esteem and Flattery

Respect sets the stage for love’s serge.
Where, esteem and flattery merge.
Infatuation births passions.
Self worth overcomes excitements
And casts off mundane enticements.
Integrity stays emotions.
Respect sets the stage for love’s serge.
Where, esteem and flattery merge.
Hold firm to dreams of tomorrow.
Meet not emotional sorrow.
Infatuation births passions.
Integrity stays emotions.
Respect sets the stage for love’s serge.
Where esteem and flattery merge.

A Stretch of the Imagination

diminished hexaverse using words rather than syllables

Moon dust is said to cause
woe for earthling’s noses and lungs.
Powdery particles eat through stainless steel,
stick like glue and congest breathing.
I mention in passing another threat -
moon dust jams expensive electronic equipment.

Moon dust floats down unknowingly
to earth carrying deep secrets
from the lunar atmosphere like
invisible snow - pixie dust which
beguiles enchanted earthlings with ecstasy.

Some dreamers have insisted
that these invasive particles
when dispersed upon them,
totally transfixes two teenagers:

increasing their chances
for physical attraction -
magical, mesmeric magnetism,

doubling parents'
apprehension and

angst.

Angels Lullaby

Close your eyes and rest your little head,
Time has come for you to go to bed,
I will gently stroke your little cheek
Go to sleep; go to sleep.
Piglet and Pooh Bear under each arm,
For you know with them your safe from harm.
Restful sleep until the morning comes,
I will hum; I will hum.

Let’s ride your rocket over Saturn,
Come circle Jupiter and mars.
Venus; such a lovely planet,
See the Milky Way and all its stars.

See the lambs that you saw at the Zoo,
With your Piglet and your Pooh Bear too.
Ev’ry star you visit carve a notch,
I will watch; I will watch.
Time then for a quiet peaceful sleep,
Where the Angels your soul gently keeps,
Guarding there until the break of day.
I will pray; I will pray.

Adored Love Lord Above

God above loves righteousness; it is ADORED.
He sent his son to us because of his great LOVE
I am forever grateful to my living LORD.
Jesus died on the cross, arose and lives now, ABOVE.

23:13 - Absense of All

I'm tired of swapping secret stares
And silent touches, barely there.
Unspoken words congest the space
Where cryptic signals mark your face.

But then again, what would I change?
I've grown fond of our untold strange.
Your wandering hands have boundaries few
Your idle hands have work to do.

Jon, Them Thin Hands See

(For a blind man…)

Sighted vision is a mystery.
Whether sitting on the divan,
Busily washing a dishpan,
Or sitting outside getting a tan.
Jon, them thin hands see.

Whether using salt and not cayenne,
I declare you amaze me, man.
You work and live industriously.
I remain your biggest fan.
Jon, them thin hands see.

Whether riding in a sedan
Or walking on the street,
You always greet the folks you meet.
Friendship never does retreat.
Independently living my dear friend.
Jon, them thin hands see.

First Signs of Fall

Snuggling in the covers
Chilly hands and feet
Frisky cats playing in the cool air.
Highschool football team in the homecoming parade.

Pickup trucks pulling trailers with four wheelers and
deer stands, congest the weekend byways.
What's that? Ping-Pow-Bang!! Oh! The rifles!
Look out, destructive pea eaters.

Just Right Here

Outburst of joy from the silvery streaks,
Of skies with blue and clouds that speak -
Silenced by the breeze, the waves flow through
Washing the past...for a life so new.

If only my heart could touch you now
It will speak of love and a solemn vow
With a new day from a lullabye of the night
My life with you starts a brighter sight.

You wake me up from my deep slumber
When all else were gone in mid-September
We met and crossed the bridge in May
I held your hand..."I'm willing to stay."

Now the sun is up and seeks for us, apart
A lot of questions congest my heart
Why should we be so far from each other?
Will destiny lead us through, so soon to be together?

I ache so much to wake up, alone
From the sturdy night my strength can hone
Lest I forget that, there's always YOU, my day should start
I will just close my eyes...and look inside my heart.
