Premium MemberCasper the Friendly Ghost

Casper the Friendly Ghost
was youthful and wanted one thing the most;
each show he searched to find and make friends.
kids always ran; maybe the wispy can't plan solid ends.

Casper, the friendly ghost kisses
our forehead between the eyebrows,
bestowing vision heart misses,
to recognise truth, mind now knows.

Casper visits those of pure heart,
whose aura exudes agape love
and in such souls he inks his art,
as blessings that pour from above,
whence we feel bliss ignition start;
joyous tidings of God’s peace dove.

Casper is our friend and yours too,
as ego cravings we undo,
breath by breath, all breaths thus entwined,
playing our life role as assigned.

Premium MemberPlease Let It Be Casper

If I have a ghost, please let it be Casper.
I want a friendly one who does not want to scare me.
Life is scary enough without the added burden of surprise.
Fast mice in the kitchen scare me.
Loud noises when something is dropped scare me.
A car alarm that goes on for a long time scares me.
I do not need any more fright in my life.
So, if you are a ghost, please find a new place.
Or show yourself as Casper, the cartoon ghost.
And do whatever you can to not show yourself.
Because I am not ready.

Casper, the friendly ghost, comes calling
For those who know not, it is daunting
There is no way to know
His choice - door or window
Even through walls, we see him flying

Casper of Christmas Passed

As transparent Christmas was
With creations of model toys and Yo-Yos
Christmas was a blast for this one small boy
With dreams of sugar plums and joy

Guessing and wanting just one simple toy
Hours of pleasure with a creative imagination
From pretending then becoming a real situation
A world of wonder with intriguing thinking

Has become the Casper of Christmas passed
Games are now taking this once creative world
Becoming a mind of dumber and dumber
Losing it’s power to create and only follow

Tricking the mind into believing it’s creating
Machines taking over mans power of creations
Leaving behind a new way of thinking
With buttons being pushed while seeing images

Talking into a box and getting a response
With faceless expression or smiling reactions
Stealing away any physical temptations
Losing a portion of mankind's interactions

The Casper Ghost of Christmas Passed
Is now a Mindless Ghost of Christmas Future
Scaring away Casper the once Friendly Ghost
Of: Christmas Passed

Premium MemberWendy and Casper

There once was a lone, sad spirit
No one wanted to be near it
	A witch named Wendy
	Became quite friendly
Casper smiled that she did not fear it

My Cat, Casper

I love my cat and I care for him too
but what is it I am to do

He bites and scratches the total time
That's why I'm sending out this rhyme

I am inquiring for this bout
Please confer to me a shout

Casper, Ruler of the Cage

Today while I was from home astray,
To the other side he passed away.
A month or more his pain he’d hid,
Quietly and gently awaiting what God bid.

Casper the Friendly Ghost I dubbed him.
A budgie rare with violet washed white trim.
This wee small birdie taught me
Patient endurance before from life he was set free.

I tried all my loving words and birdie cures,
And plied him with any and all treats for sure.
For a while he seemed to improve,
But I accepted his fate when he could hardly move.

Mighty in his day, he ruled the cage.
Now he’s flying on the other side with Sky, my two wild sages!
When I pass, the human spirits will have a delay great,
While all my animals greet me after so long a wait!

A Ghostly Tail No Casper On the Block

A Ghost that once lived in the redwood oak house
It was shared with a little mouse
The house was once dwelled by Mr. Robert Swellers, an Old man
He died some say in a strange death
But being he was an old man, one could say he died from Old age
Yet there seemed to be a lot of rage
Mysterious as it sounds, one can only be curious bound
However, the neighboring houses would often hear sounds
Yet Mr. Swellers Ghost wants to keep any Buyers from purchasing his home
The Ghost of Mr. Swellers that his house will be left alone
As a Ghost, Mr. Swellers is letting it be known
But the surrounding neighbors feel very uncomfortable
The fact in knowing that there is a Ghost on the block
They dare not mock
A Ghost that storms through a once owned house
Mr. Swellers never married so had no spouse
The emptiness of one’s soul
A wonder that captives the behold
A story fold
Yet the mystery that was ever told
Peace with no rest
Only the Ghost of Mr. Swellers can contest
Hold on too your flesh as it will be all you will have left.

Of Monster, Fish Burger, Casper and I

As I sit and stare at the computer,
An image appeared makes me shudder,
An ugly humongous red-eyed monster,
Looking at me I wonder what it mutters.

As I sit and stare at the computer,
I grow hungrier and hungrier,
There is one enormous fish burger,
Looking at me with come hither.

As I sit and stare even longer,
Gosh! This time I see an image even bigger,
Of a Casper but absolutely fatter,
With all smile and cute laughter.

Oh! As I sit still and stare with disbelief,
Then something strikes me and I feel relief,
They are nothing more I must admit,
Of who else but none other the reflections of me.

Casper and Welda

Casper is my bunny rabbit who was found by my maid;
he has brown fur with white and gray spots,
most of them are on his fat belly and round head.
Welda is my cat, today she's not chasing any mouse;
she loves to bathe him as if he were her own,
none of the rabbits get closer to him, he's never alone!

I built a large, bright room just for them with big windows,
and I hung posters of other pets for them to view;
in spring the breeze is the gift of the stately willows
that fluctuate as grass...oh, my pets love to taste the fresh dew!

All the envious rabbits gather in the same corner and seem to chat,
but they doze off watched by the hungry bobcat...
while Casper is kept warm by Welda's loving breath;
how glad I am to witness their tender friendship...I simply laugh!

Max and Casper

Cats spring lightly to the sill
Landing feet first, standing still,
Stalking leaves or birds in flight
Slinking thoughts of spider pie.

Fur legs stretched across the bed
Making mole roads beneath the spread,
Racing down the hardwood floors
Cutting corners on all fours.

Whiskers twitch, yawns unfurl,
Bask in sunlight, tails uncurl,
Motors run, lick their paws,
Cleaning up from morning chores.

Satin finish streamlined cats
Walk a tightrope parapet,
Fitting on the smallest ledge,
Resting on a short term nest.

Feline statues grace the room
With their postured bodies groomed,
Seem to wait for my return
Then act, not a bit concerned.

I see my darling
Why I have chosen to live here
For it is here I will be closer
To you and God and my family, dear.

This Is Not Exactly Casper We'Re Talking About

one day We all must face
the ghosts of who we thought we were
back then, back when

we were younger, but we were stronger
We've grown weaker with our age
Souls worn down by passing days

Images of youthful eyes
flash across my dreaming mind

Innocence and openness
A state of grace i've grown to miss

Open doors all closing now
lights and shadows crashing down

Another breath has gone to dust
Another year has turned to rust

Let's find our place in dusk and dawn
Take heart in the loss that is who we are
