Asseveration Poems

Servants of Solitude

In disingenuous defenseless dreams of the damned have wept
They awaken within sempiternal solitudes that they have slept
They're above all asseveration of tenacious tears they accept
For inside patricentric passage of time becomes illogically inept

The axiomatic assembly of manqué multitudes in pacifistic plight
Their damnation dorms of diversity desecrated upon a fatal finite
Humankind’s humility a harbinger of ritualistic recrudescent rite
And sorrowful sins syndicate with vigorous velocity and appetite

Their altruistic ambient soul tangled torn beyond comprehension
Desolate deprived within a deceitful delight of a demons detention
Isolated and audaciously abandoned onto the grasp of evil intention
May love levitate their tragic turmoil and align them with ascension.

Love Is Blind

No asseveration can appease
 	my Othello suffering husband
 		despite an axiomatic love
			held only for thee.

Yet an altruistic devotion
 	runs deep within me.

Love is blind you see.

To see or not to see...
        that is the question!

Though sunset is a thread upon the living
in care of others nothing, but love like
a beacon. It is axiomatic
that life is not always straightforward
beyond this simple world, motivated
by purely altruistic reasons for
others with much warmth of asseveration
of the heart never forgotten.

As human beings, we are set a trust

Dominion over all such lesser things

Yet it's axiomatic that we turn to dust

The best of what our erudition brings

We take a fertile clay in hand to mold

The asseveration of our bright intents

To throw upon life's wheel and thus behold

The magic that our work and will relents

But much of what we strive for falls away

Our altruistic hopes and aims devoured

By all that glitters gold with glut and pay

The milk of our accomplishment so soured

Perhaps if we'd first taste that bitter cream

We'd shape a world more fit ... our childrens' dream.

Say, I Love You

My eyes move towards the hallow
Leaving the thoughts - nearly shallow

I know, your love is axiomatic
But the way you tie the knot
I get strangled in it

I am a free spirit, like the wind
I roam here and there on my own will
I am not that guy whom you can bind
I take charge on my own driving wheel

Altruistic love
Restricts me to be harsh - but
Continuously
You need asseveration
From me, to say, " I love you"

Premium MemberConfidence In the Presence of God

God’s presence* in my life daily is my utmost desire

Such is axiomatic every time I wake up ‘til I retire...

His peace is what I want to reign over me surely

To conquer my fears triumphantly.

In His compassion is where I find freedom indeed

As I fellowship with Him, unmindful of time to exceed…

I thank His joy embracing me upon His certainty

Dispelling my thoughts of anguish and anxiety…

Thus, His guidance keeps me settled

Leading me to be altruistic where I’m lovingly handled...

His grace hedges me around His embrace

Away from Him, my asseveration won’t have value-trace…

Truly, victory awaits me thru His power

To bear service-fruits as His diligent sower!

*Psalm 116:14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

Premium MemberHippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia - Don'T Let the Title Put You Off Reading

The sponsor chose words I’ve never heard of before
So if I don’t win the contest I’ll declare he’s a bore

It’s axiomatic that I’ve an altruistic attitude
But I don’t give a fig if folks think that I’m rude!

I’ll sign a declaration of my asseveration
Then bare my teeth like an angry Alsatian!

Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia is the fear of long words
Is this word some kind of cynical joke aimed at dim witted nerds!

Premium MemberNeeding a Weekend's Rest

The city-square glints wondrously
its dome of velvet, glass, and bulbs
Ignites through picture window frames;
axiomatic the marquee …
where dwellers prance along the lanes
each one bestowing gentle nods
in  altruistic reverence;
like gentle keepers of the night
beneath a moonlit canopy:

While huddled in a show's debut,
they all absorb romantic whims
on one Friday needing mild rest…
that onstage life grants fantasy
to claim man’s asseveration.

Premium MemberTread Lightly, Cover Your Cough

To tread lightly on Planet Earth
To dive in with a tiny weeny splash
To cover your cough and not foul the air with smoke
To ardently proclaim earth's preservation
is an altruistic axiomatic asseveration to Gaia.

Triple A

Without being too melodramatic
As a rule it is axiomatic
That finding a rhyme is problematic
Or a mind that’s idiosyncratic
But this plays out as melodramatic

Regard for readers is altruistic
Male poets must not be chauvinistic
And contest winners less egotistic
Such regard of self is narcissistic

Making these statements is asseveration
Speaking out so without reservation
A deviation or aberration
Not esteemed worthy of admiration

This contest piqued my curiosity
So, I’m drunk with my own verbosity!

           ‘Do Good to others’
              An axiomatic truth.

           Uncontroversial being
             on firm asseveration.

They were sitting in an old-fashioned coffee house unraveling the beans
Little nuggets of wisdom not coated in sugar not creamed by distortion

Is the concept of minimal maxims truly axiomatic when we promise each
other to be of altruistic and selfless composure just discussing an argument

I shall buy you another round of caffeine infusion it helps to concentrate
on general truths like only finding solutions from rightful beginnings and logic

Existence comes before essence let us live to the fundamental potential of
talking the talk and walking the walk on that long road of questions and mind

Should we not metaphorically speaking assassinate that honest asseveration
persevere deliberate bite the bullet that fact lies in the eye of a sharp needle

I forgot to bring my nook split hooks today I feel naked can you not see it
The fabric of meaning is a bit stitched up today but the coffee hits home

Valid reasoning from a sound premise (the coffee house) to a grand finale
Whose paradigm what dictum which virtue or just idle talk brewing to where

The mother duck and her ducklings bond tenderly
The mother cat and her kittens purr contentedly
The mother dolphin frolics with her calf ceaselessly---
Instincts axiomatic emerge, so very naturally.

The schoolgirl gives her sandwich to a friend in need
The young boy lends his grandpa a hand so genteely
The donor proudly gives an organ to the amputee---
Altruistic acts of kindness, performed ever so graciously

The newborn babe brings joy and hope to all quite effortlessly
The young adult strikes out on his own undauntedly
The longtime employee retires from his workplace so tearfully---
The Heaven-bound count their blessings as they turn expectantly

To join those who left this Earth before them, proclaiming truthfully
In solemn asseveration: Nearer my God to Thee...

The Charlatan

The Charlatan

In honesty young Sir, I have good reason to doubt,
When you tell me “My word is my bond.”
I fear your insistent asseveration is but a scam,
With hope to take my chattels and abscond.

You talk in a manner of self-confidence,
It would be easy to succumb to your plan.
A charlatan, a dishonest schemer, a cheat,
Not as you assert, “the epitome of an altruistic man”

I have testimony to your wicked villainy,
From a Woman of good character and trust.
It is self-evident, positively axiomatic,
You are but a common thief;
I feel only disgust.
