Triple A
Without being too melodramatic
As a rule it is axiomatic
That finding a rhyme is problematic
Or a mind that’s idiosyncratic
But this plays out as melodramatic
Regard for readers is altruistic
Male poets must not be chauvinistic
And contest winners less egotistic
Such regard of self is narcissistic
Making these statements is asseveration
Speaking out so without reservation
A deviation or aberration
Not esteemed worthy of admiration
This contest piqued my curiosity
So, I’m drunk with my own verbosity!
