Love Is Blind

No asseveration can appease
 	my Othello suffering husband
 		despite an axiomatic love
			held only for thee.

Yet an altruistic devotion
 	runs deep within me.

Love is blind you see.

To see or not to see...
        that is the question!

Hi Laura! What a pity you missed out on the contest! You inserted all prompts cleverly and with apparent ease! A winner in my eyes:) ~ Warm regards // paul
