If you watch any animated episode,
you will see me beep-beep down the road.
I can run at a great velocity.
Nobody will be able to catch me.
While I move, I feel quite happy.
However, I have an adversary.
The joker in question is that coyote.
He tries so many ways to apprehend me.
The way I run, that will never be.

‘Treasures of my heart were scattered to be lost when heart was broken’
-Poet
Leading life with my broken heart
On your reluctance I am hurt.
Yet my door of heart is not shut.
Cool calm colourful soft serene
Pure holy humble heart of mine,
yearned for your heart to entwine !
With dreamy desire I expect
In future, you'll reciprocate :
May happen soon or may be late.
Yet some day you must show your love
My broken heart, you may observe.
You will admit what I deserve.
What you feel or think about me
I can’t apprehend, I’m sorry.
To accept me or not, you’re free.
Sweetheart, though my heart is broken,
Dear, always my heart is open :
Any time you enter my zone.
My heart is broken, I love you
Heart is aching, I am in rue.
Yet I can’t say ' Adieu '.

The river holds within it
a channel for bygone moments,
as if all that was
will be its movement
into tomorrow.
Below the darkest sheen
an ancient starlight glows, and there,
long drowned ghosts dream.
Under a slow flow the moon swims up
to gaze upon its pallid face,
where far above it glimmers.
I feel the tendinous silt of my life,
see my coming and going,
apprehend my shifting shores,
in the long nights tumbling flood.

Out in the cold
Excluded by a former friend
Out in the cold
Betrayed for silver coins when sold
A deed I could not apprehend
And now perplexed alone I stand
Out in the cold

How important are family and friends,
Times of real trouble the outcome depends,
Depends on the numbers the more we recruit,
Together we help to resolve a dispute,
Our heads put together to plan our way out,
Intimidate the enemy where in with a shout,
We can beat every problem fight to the end,
Our strength is in numbers we will apprehend,
So if you cause aggro in a negative way,
You'll feel the full force as we hunt down our prey,
This is a route we rather not take,
It's never too late to admit your mistake,
Turn it around repair what was wrong,
Friendship or enemy something to work on,
The last few years have been tougher than most,
No one to blame pandemic the host,
A world that's so fragile with a lot going on,
It only takes one nutter to drop a huge bomb.

Line of inquiry
" We look for that light eternal
that doesn't come and go
the screen upon which life plays
cognised in staid stillness slow."
Eternal light to enlighten
inert soul staying in deep sleep :
Hidden consciousness to brighten.
Awareness attempting to peep.
Life is displaying a canvas
to paint your art from birth to death
Sincere attention to focus
on purpose of life, at each breath.
' Who am I ?' , ' From where I have come ' ,
' Where to go ?' What happens at end ?
Silent soul remains cool and calm.
' What's after life ? Can't apprehend.
Where is the light that lights all lights
to wake up soul till in dormant state !
But darkness of ignorance fights
inquiring the ultimate fate..

Remember, remember the 5th of November.
The gunpowder plot, that was supposed to dismember.
A failed plot by Guy Fawkes to take down the Crown.
With his cache of explosives, to bring a government down.
Now a night of Thanksgiving as they foiled the plot.
While bonfires burn, with Fawkes effigy on top.
A celebration of fireworks, dance like stars in the night.
As we gather together with much joy and delight.
The bonfires are blazing with Guy Fawkes on display.
His effigy crackles as the flames dance and sway.
It's a tale from the past as they did apprehend.
As the effigy of Fawkes meets its fiery end.
So here's to the 5th, for its sparkle and sizzle.
A time for reflection as those fireworks fizzle.
It's a lesson from history that will never grow old.
As we give thanks, whilst we cherish the freedoms, we hold.

Thank you, love, for the advice
Think it goes a bit too far
I am not a womanizer
Never envied those who are
I’m not cynical on women
Never did I criticize
Their hunting, their scheming
Their truth and their lies,
I just let my life to happen
It’s not something that I owe
At their turn the people step in
Afterwards they have to go
Yes it might be not the best
Way to apprehend what follows
But I never did request
More than I can bear and borrow
To provide this strange adventure
Which directs me to unknown
Kind of tapestry, well textured
To the place I’d call my home.
You must know how much I love you
There’s no reason to defend
Love’s a shoreline that is true
To the waves that you descend.

Dear Curious Youth
And inquisitive Sleuth
I present to you a quandary
A baffling report
An enigma of sort
Whenever I do my laundry
It’s quite odd enough
That some certain stuff
Go missing before I’m through
Between warm, rinse and cold
Sort, hang and fold
I find one sock instead of two.
Despite diligent seeking
Specifically speaking
And searching high and low
And just to be clear
I have no idea
Where the missing sock might go
So I’m left empty handed
Or single-sock stranded
And am leaving you in charge
So you my dear friend
May soon apprehend
This sock-napping culprit at large
I must soon leave this place
And commence my next case
Please continue with my query
But before I go
You ought to know
I’ve formulated a theory
Just thinking this through
And an evidence review
Consider this please, I beg
It’s rough and brief
But the brazen thief
Might only have one leg!
Be smart and reflective
My washroom detective
It’s now entirely up to you
To determine the fate
Of this Laundry-gate
Your Good Friend,
Nancy Drew

Standing on my head
looking up at the trees
and the sparkling sky
When it’s dark I don’t see
the ship float by nor
the tsunami sea
Upside-down women
on either side
of cotton candy eventide
When the light’s bright
palms and ferns come to life
tickling my soles
and I am able
to rearrange the houseplants
with my toes
How much harder it is
to apprehend the tossed high heels
and the mute parrot
high and higher
almost in flight
but I catch them
as I carry on
with lethargic lids
that never seam
The minute I close them
my baby-faced muse
pries them open
with a seam ripper
and I flick the light back on
and then to annoy her
I hit the switch
so I can view the “Fanch”
in the Hitchcock hour
Truly, I am reclining
and in turn propelling
out of my chair
It’s been a long day
I won’t bore you with its tales
I’ll just point you to
the simple fact
that artwork looks different
hanging
upside-down
or inside-out
or Cubist

when we looked way out far
at what woule be fruit bar
someone broke (abjudicated) the jar
like a rising star
when having growth spurt
while I did play in the dirt
would be sure to hurt
after location
there would be the creation
of a train station
(of life with each station)
wanted fresh supply
after we will have dropped by
cookies will want to try
(surely so do I)
(this cannot deny)
(sense of humor rye and dry)
(even after I do die)
when of sea took whiff
we went sailing on a skiff
with composed pontiff
when they would descend
what they really did intend
was all their money spend
we would apprehend
messages which God would send
save soul does intend
from further inspection
will have an insurrection
from each direction
(causing an infection)
(need wind correction)
(created rejection)
what we will predict
must have been a derelict
contained in an edict
as predictable
did become despicable
like news by cable
what we prefer please
flying on trapeze through trees
forget to bring disease
Prefer and plan to say that this can
constitute my thorough, terrific ten
Horn Haiku poems I presume and
assume with much room.

An overnight note is the time I can say
Things that I wanted to during the day
I didn't, I meant to, I must have forgot
But all end the same way, I love you alot
I'm crazy about you, of that you can see
I wonder, do you feel the same about me?
If so, some way tell me, my heart apprehend
If not then please don't, I'd like to pretend

Gray wings
at the edge of a threadbare blue.
A feathering that attenuates
and denatures.
Beneath somber clouds
stone angels watch
green granite deathbeds
crumble
in darkening dens.
October slips
through our eyes leaving no footsteps.
We are unaware of its coming
until we close those eyes tight,
then under squeezed lids
they glint starbright.
Sea-deep into a restless night
we may apprehend
the faces of the bloodless
as they seek
some last verdant masks to cover
their ice-sculptured features.

What causes drama about dark
that sneaks right in, puts out the spark
of confidence- to then embark
the path of fear, alone and stark?
What light there is, the shadows bend-
morph into scenes we apprehend;
disguised, unknown as our eyes send
those stark outlines we can't defend.
Like silhouettes of tall, bent trees
which come alive with every breeze;
their swaying arms transmit unease-
as darkness helps them mock and tease.
The dark invites a dismal mood
when eyes present a vision skewed.
Tween mind and senses there's a feud-
of what is real and what is viewed.
