I'm glad to see that all of you that read "Dirty Laundry" enjoyed it and actually got something out of it...I t was rough for me to write that...because my pawpaw (a.k.a. grandpa) are very close!! That is why I was soo gun-ho for the world of war contest, and thanks to all that participated I am thrilled at how quick everyone responded to it;

I was born on my pawpaw's 40th birthday, and throughout the years he and I have sat down for many Vietnam talks, because it was always my choice to write about for school reports, poems, historical essays, whatever it was, Vietnam was my pick.Because I am so proud of him...and to see that so many others feel the same way scrapes a part in the depths of my heart...again THANK YOU ALL

My Grandpa talked alot about the war, WWII, with much pride, showing me his metals, but with much sadness also, I think the horrors he lived through, changed him forever, at times he had tears in his eyes..

Open More Slots Randa .. if u have read the current entries and feel u will receive many more elegant ones... Open More Slots.. this is a challenging contest luv.. takes time to collect thoughts and create a super poem about this sensitive subject .. as a sponsor myself .. I like giving poets the chance to enter ..some need more time than others because of work schedules and school committments and other life things luv.. whatever u do.. good luck.. I so enjoyed creating an entry for u ..

I can't write on the topic of the military for you dear not in a way in which would do either of us any good BUT if you have the time and people arehaving a NEED to write for that subject it would probably be good for them to vent? Light & Love

Randa, I don't mind if you close it, simply because I read so many stunning poems on the topic that I felt too scared to try to measure up to what I was reading and try one myself. I was super impressed by the quality of poetry your contest inspired. Way to make a great contest!!
