Beauty In Paris, France

(french)
Le Soleil se couche derriere les Eiffel
                       De la promenade J’admire
                            Une memoire pittoresque

                            *

(english)
**Sun sets behind the Eiffel
              From the boardwalk I adore
                                 A picturesque memory

Awesome way to try out your French, Miranda. There are many similarities between Spanish and French. I could understand this pretty much without the translation. I remember the one time I flew into Italy, I could understand the airline hostess almost perfectly.Italian is very CRISP and also like Spanish. Eiffel Tower is wonderful and so is your haiku!

Hey, you did a great job, Randa! I saw the blog photo and you described it beautifully here. The French looks perfect to me. I didn't even need the translation. My sister once taught French (as well as English) so if you'd like, I'll email it to her and see what she says. She is very fluent in French as well as Spanish. Love, Carolyn
