My Wish

If I had one wish? I would ask for a day To say to my Dad, all I didn’t get to say Everything on my mind In every possible way If I had one wish? I would dance to hearts content My emotions would not be bent Because my father would be here. If only one day I could rent… If I had one wish? I’d wish all time away Without that record, we’d have longer days Untracked time with loved ones And just enjoy all life’s display I would wish away Eve And her eating from that tree So that we all could live forever In God’s kingdom, happy and care-free I would illegalize “goodbye” Then it would never be in existence Our loved ones couldn’t die And we could find other reasons to cry Oh I have to pick just one you say… Well I’ll condense them all together… ……..
