Flowers

Flowers bloom precipitously to Silence a corpse of ill-intent... Bringing hope to all who suffered Through winter's mad torment. The snapdragon shows its passion As the snow-drop leads the way. The tulip mocks the melting snow While the crocus has its day. The daffodil waits for no one... The pansy sets a wry bouquet. The violet in spring will rise... The rose will wait for May. Revel now this feast of spring And the bounty she provides Knowing a vindictive winter salivates As it waits to turn the tide. The End

Great write. The first signs of Autumn are here David the season that sometimes makes winter sleep for longer. I am 5 years cancer free. Our grandson to the younger of our two daughters is also 5 and thriving at school. Our eldest daughter is expecting identical twin boys in August. Something to distract my wife from Osteoarthritis, which gets her down. Our boy is now a research engineer and recently attended a conference in Detroit. Our Dahlias are still blooming. Best regards from David in NZ
