When I Make a Wish
When I make a wish.

When I make a wish on a falling star.
I dream a dream.
I dream a dream.
I dream a dream about how stars are.
And my mind starts to wander
On things I might ponder
With a hope for a far better day.
And in this blissful condition
I embrace the tradition
Of wishing my troubles away
When you have a friend.
When you have a friend.
When you have a friend who follows that star.
Do you know?

Do you know how lucky you are?
There are moments in life
When conflicted by strife
When a friend will come to your aid.
And in this troubled condition
With no hint of suspicion
They'll wish your worries away.
