A Simple Thought

The color of my house
    does not define me.
The color of my car
    does not define me.
The color of my skin
    does not define me.
The color of my eyes
    does not define me.
The color of my hair
    does not define me.
Well... unless it was red.
    That would be just creepy.

         The End

Ha, ha, ha, as an ageing red head turned grey, I would give my best marbles to get it back, brilliant verse, left you thinking what was coming next, and no worries, us red heads have an amazing sense of humour, David, and I loved it . . . ; )

I do not think you are capable of a simple thought *lol* That’s why I find your writing so interesting.

Thanks Richard. There's a fine line between being funny and being mean... I hope I never come off as mean. Have a great day my friend.

Ha, ha, ha, ha. Rather be dead than red in the head!.. Take it from a faded redhead. All the grandmas used to fondle my hair in elevators. Can you imagine?! It was, indeed, AWFUL. Cute poem, David. Stay interesting. :) gw

Now that would be creepy. Sounds like an idea for a poem. Stay frosty my friend.

I come from a family of redheads, but sadly have only brown hair, and so I always wished I were a redhead :) Clever ending to your poem, David~

I have nothing against redheads. I was just making the point... we all have some things that give us the willey-nilleys. Have a great day.

I thought it was funny but since my wife assures me I am not funny... I bow to your good taste. Have a great day my friend.
