Witnessed at a State Funeral

    Sparks of humanity 
       get a look-see
         occasionally

    Obama and Trump
       engaged in repartee

    a smile, a grin, a tee-hee
     

I Witnessed a Spectacle Within the Attic

I see a rotting occlude on the drywall in my attic at the peak of the ceiling beyond the walls veil for outside of it I came as a worm in a large world at the very core of a rotting apple only being who I am to be cast out as an abomination hoped

Dots have been connecting lately
Picking up on a common theme
Everyone pursuing a similar goal
We are all just looking to be seen

Wrapped in a web of old wounds
Warping our view of present day
Ultimately want to be understood 
For who we are despite what others say

What Earth Witnessed On Their Final Day

The Earth could only watch what happened to the humans their final day
How…whether or not they believed in a God…they all looked to the sky to pray

How humans in every language…from every corner of the world…
all beseeched the sky…all asking the same question…why…they wondered…why.

After hearing the humans’ question…the sky began to glow…
The God’s answer…carried on

Gasps of Witnessed Horrors

I'm shivering, naked, I'm amidst bodies on a cart
All I remember is looking up awaiting the water
Entangled I am seeing grimaced pinked faces
And a solumn looking sky very close to tears

Now discarded, left, sensing a sweet acrid smell
Knowing the await, soon the others and I
Time passes as I drift in and out of reality
Then night

What I Witnessed Atop the Bridge-

As I cross over the bridge 
It lives it lives 
Waters flowing splashing 
Going 
It gives it gives 
The moon up above 
Moves the waves 
To and fro 
From the shores 
I stand on the bridge 
And I gaze up upon  the skies 
And I see the stars and the Moon reflexes it's light

What Witnessed This Kiss-

What if I loved you and you said yes
What if I hold you and you said what
What if I gave you a holy kiss
What if I were to be a witness
This relationship heaveness
Yes what kiss witness heaveness

I'Ve Witnessed Acts of Kindness-

~In kind two young boys watched
They spy on the corner;
As baulk and walked;
then escorted a wheelchair elder;

Across a busy traffic intersection;
With a smile store clerk to my surprise gave me aisle directions;
Such a sport full of kindness and support soft talk;
A mother in the park; On a mid morn walk;

While in a carriage her baby

Witnessed

Alone I entered chaos, don’t shoot, a mother screamed.
All I knew as I responded, was a knife, and blood had streamed.
My senses they deceived me, as his words resembled truth.
As I clicked one cuff onto his wrist, he lunged in agile youth.
That blade, I won’t forget it, large and black with handle laced.

I Witnessed It

Horrible smash of broken bottles,
Blood gush from young touts' bodies,
Nauseating odour of marijuana, grass, 
Spoiled that Monday evening.

I witnessed it,
A deadly fracas erupted,
Between two rival teenage cultists,
At Asarailu's son naming ceremony.

Asarailu cult group had launched,
A mayhem, killed, maimed, butchered,
And escaped during the last encounter,
But this reprisal is more brutally bloody.

I witnessed a miracle today
Though still weary, from my grandpa's passing
You helped light the way
It came, in the form, that brings so much joy
An 8lb, 6oz, precious little boy

It helped me realize, that there's life, that lives past the grave
Though you're gone, your soul lives on

Witnessed a robbery take place yesterday

As incredulous as this may seem

Was sitting in the food court at the local mall

When all of a sudden I hear this guy ranting and raving

Slamming his leather bag down on one of the tables

Marching over to the coffee stand
