“do it”
“ no one would notice”
“it’s just a scratch”
“ your overacting”
“superficial”
whispers, mumbles 
when i’m alone
they never leave
never will
so i will not sleep
never, never will
when i can hear the ghosts in my walls.

The Walls Remember What the World Forgets

The walls remember what the world forgets —
Every whispered prayer, every silent regret.
Every kiss by candle, every scream in war,
Every soul who’s begged, “I can’t take this anymore.”

They’ve soaked in blood, they’ve heard soft moans,
They’ve echoed laughter through broken homes.
They’ve watched first dances, they’ve felt last breaths,
Held secrets carved

weathered walls are beautiful

a cracked building sighs
a century's worth of deep
secrets veiled inside

Pictures On My Walls

Pictures plastered on my offwhite walls.
Some coloured, some drawn, some art.
Some represent where I walked in halls.
Some represent deepest parts of my heart.

THE WALLS ARE CLOSING IN

It feels like the walls
are closing into silence
each breath tighter than the last
as if love itself might end our existence.

I lie here, half a human
reaching for air and you.
You're holding back, I feel it
but something sacred is taking shape.

Your thoughts speak in whispers
louder than words
echoing in rhythm with mine
confessing what lips still fear to say.

Now

Rather Than Talking to Walls -

Rather than talking to walls -
I talk to the universe
Which talks back.

The Milky Way hails -
The stars wink endlessly -
The planets - they enchant -

And if my ears are sharp -
I might hear steadfastly
The drum of time

In sync with my heart -
The crickets and the owls
As one rhyme.

In a room with four walls, where light dies like a trapped butterfly

In a room with four walls, where light dies like a trapped butterfly,
stands a mirror, a glass doll, with silver lashes that lie beautifully,
it whispers to me that I am enough, that my shadow dances, that I am not lost,
with sweet words, poisoned honey, telling me I have purpose, that I'm not behind,
that the world

In a room with heavy curtains, where shadows dance on walls like forgotten memories

It's not just about touches, nor bodies pressed together or rumpled sheets,
It's about how you undressed me of layers of silence and fears with your hands like a gentle wind,
In the bed that seemed a secret island, you taught me to be

Without walls

There's a place without walls.
For those who swear that they are floors.
and oh how they die like a flowers bloom
they lie so still in forgotten tombs

Big stones create strength,
little ones add stability.

Both are needed
for a wall to be structurally sound.
