Premium Memberhoney bee house

Would you be willing to have a honey bee house?
My cousin said yes to this.
bees could choose a plethora of flowers in her yard
Acres of flowers
she has only seen one honey bee near them
But many yellow and black bumblebees
Are the bumblebees bullies? Thugs?
The honeybees stay close to their bee house
It is curious
I will transmogrify into a bee and find out

The Oval Office looks gaudy
And outshines the King of Saudi
Trump’s ugly deco
Gives off an echo
Of a bordello that’s bawdy

In-House Pachyderm

Too large to avoid everyone knows it's here
not wishing to collide they won't stand too near
nor broach the subject they keep it under wraps
Mum's the word keep it under your hat
they all walk 'round it talk around it
they're not blind so what gives
it's unkind to animals and who wants to live
with an elephant in the room
too large to evade it's something they ignore
not wanting to impede but can't close the door
a line they won't cross they'll avoid it at all costs
just sit there and stare
even sweep it under the rug with a broom
but with lumps and bumps that big
how long can they keep on pretending it's not there
the elephant in the room

Premium MemberLooking for Home

we need adult pants
to confront our dreams demise
before time waves bye ~
moving to a sunny state
might turn our sadness around

no more lush yard land
useful outbuildings scattered
old farmhouse we love
maybe sad byes to willows ~
then hi to palms and beaches

we felt this was home
an old house where we belonged
not our shared fate though
so to sun state we will drive ~
with frowns to wear in some months

Forty 3rd Time?

For the forty 3rd attempt
Of incline
A forty 3rd question unanswered
Los Angeles requires an accomplishment
As yet the roofs of wealth choir no challenge
Stilled in self wonder the share constants
Water and health in abundance, again
This execution remembers every faculty
Partners and sermons
Cost and boss
The build of document to spend
Little shadows of Washington fend

The framers of a Los Angeles hard at work
During war time
Without end
Preparing the give
Ready for another attack
That steal refuses its sound
Prefer of the city and cities charity
Suggest of intonation
None strate to the cause

America in Los Angeles only lensing past tense
Encampments of abandon
In a day of labor, no notes
No reservation
No surplus

The house

I was the house
At my window
There was a neon sign:

                         - Fixing broken things -

Every doorstep crossing
Took a piece of me and left

I became a house without the walls
                           without the curtains
                           without a table

A ruin

But
One morning
Standing across the mirror
I became a foundation

Premium MemberEmpty Lines

The clothes lines hang empty the grass has grown tall
The apples rot down on the ground
Too thick is the fence around this garden wall
From the house of yours there’s no sound
Unfortunately, this is not a bad dream
But a matter of fact that maintains
When changes come somewhere it seems a routine
But when they come close it looks strange
The slabs will crack more, and it’s only the rain
Looks after the flowers you loved
The generous watering comes down again
The autumnal sky hangs above.

House Of Bread

House Of Bread
Upon a humbled road ahead
House Of Bread
Abundance
Symbolic
A place of rest
Meaningful traditions
Spiritual beginnings
Mountains to valleys
Ancient path ways
Pilgrimage engraved
Passionate
Devotion
Put yourself last
Therapeutic
Give to others
Nothing in return

Premium MemberMy Kitchen is a Chameleon Like Me

color in my kitchen makes me smile
I must change it up after a little while
blue on Monday, on Wednesday it is red
On Thursday it’s yellow as I toast my bread
My kitchen is a chameleon just like me.
On Saturday it is pink as I drink peach tea.

Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse
Still struts through each media house,
With hose stretched tighter than his grin,
And yellow shoes too big for his thin shin.
