On The Walls Rimas Dissolutas

On the walls of a broken heart,
another sits between two teeth.
Spiderwebs of lines splintering
shine when you smile a little bit.

The gap grows as you fall apart
freeing what is soft underneath.
Often dry heels splitting will sting
causing wicked pain in transit.

There is a crack in everything,
yet each flaw has a perfect fit.
