I remember the road to pilate farm,
It was a never land.
I rode in the galley with pilate pirate,
it was a roaring galley rowing.
It was ice-bounding through the night,
young frozen hearts beneath Clotilda.
hundred and ten suspended lives,
thirteen days shadowed silence.
forty five suns dipped the blue horizon
alas Alabama and down the sea Clotilda
a new world in canebrakes.
Half a decade away before unshackling the soul.

Be mindful of heart contractions
Wary of ego’s distractions
Discard doubt and fear we stand strong
As life rolls on, let’s sing our song
There’s nothing out there, all’s within
Go in hermit, go in, go in
Within heart resounds, God’s bliss gong
As life rolls on, let’s sing our song
Stand firm and erect in life’s storm
We make our touch tender and warm
Leave none behind, take all along
As life rolls on, let’s sing our song
May head and heart act hand in glove
The litmus test is always love
Discern oh hermit, right from wrong
As life rolls on, let’s sing our song
Silence alone can set us free
Unshackling soul from our mind tree
Remove delusion with truth’s tong
As life rolls on, let’s sing our song
Cave of heart is where we belong
As life rolls on, let’s sing our song

Heart
is where
desire stirs
and also where
all such cravings rest.
When soul’s eye sees desire
as stark cause of our stupor,
we witness form as an object,
assigning not any ownership,
thus unshackling consciousness from ego.

GOLD AND BLOOD
Mantis eyes magnetised her sister’s heart
felt its imprisoned glint of gold
willed it to enlarge into a
lotus leaf upon a sea
It floats on a lake of blood before
dawn turning hot burning blue
heat of her own blood
gold of her own heat
‘Let her not drown in
bloodied gold of red
running thick and deep’
So she murmured, so they did
To a shore of soft sand
Heart sailed escorted by
obsidian lidded dragons
gloomy gold unshackling
Guts, throat, tongue
puddle, pond, lake of
blood transmuted to turquoise
gold and blood morphing
Cupids created decoupage dishes
with bloodied dollars gold
called for another stint
to alchemise pentacles cold

I've remembered how to be,
And recognized it though,
Before I did not dare to see,
That it had not been quite so.
It was I, and I was it,
And me, in neither lie,
Confused I stood to ever sit,
As essence, rather'd die.
Broken boy, battle lost,
Tell-tale acrimony,
Bitter breath, idle cost,
Ancient ceremony.
Until a hero outside met,
That inside I had hidden,
Unknown to self I've ever yet,
Gilded till forbidden.
I broke the yoke,
The ochre choke,
That silent ache unspoken,
Revealed in smoke,
Evoked and woken:
The token of the joke.
Laughter hails in smithereens,
To undue worry, fear, and shame.
Unshackling the in-between,
To play this endless game.
I've remembered how to do it,
Thanks to you, I always knew it.
And together we shall always choose,
To learn to fail to lose.

To be twice born, baptised in the current
Dispelling forever, limitation
Truth of clear light dawns, self-luminescent
Thus enabled by God, for co-creation
First step is, fear and desire cessation
Unshackling self from ego sediment
Choosing death by mind vaporisation
To be twice born, baptised in the current
Magnetised emptiness accords consent
To the renewal of bliss ignition
Luminous self revealed, marking ascent
Dispelling forever, limitation
Through night and day, thus in meditation
Darkness recedes, light becomes apparent
Gods hands shape, our divine transmutation
Truth of clear light dawns, self-luminescent
All we do, is make ego decadent
Each node of our form, in celebration
Vibrant with bliss, our native element
Thus enabled by God, for co-creation
Plunge in the void, without hesitation
That the staff of power, be radiant
Ready for reception and transmission
Gods love and light, within ever present
To be twice born

Auschwitz horrors replayed time and again
Nurtured by hatred of prejudiced minds
Toxic fumes fabric of our soul thus stains
Humanity enmeshed in devils bind
Let the last train to Auschwitz be release
Unshackling consciousness from delusion
Transmuting lower mind, to be at ease
Resonating with the love pulsation
Recognising oneness, embracing all
Offering rancour no anchor within
We be to become, a vibrant bliss squall
Dew drops of love, permeating our skin
Oh hermit! See how low we have fallen
Yet, by God we are never forsaken

What is this strange place
we find ourselves in,
caged in the open
and yet free within,
illusion spirals
engulf our being,
fickle attention
thus oscillating;
shaky awareness
in turbid currents
simply swept away
as a leaf in winds,
until we so choose
void of cessation,
here ever present,
in each vibration,
at poignant moment
of each breath exchange,
as also the gap
between two thought trains,
within which, dear soul
we exit stupor,
unshackling our self
from hypnotic trance,
whereupon we are,
as we are, thus free,
from narrow fetters
of our lower mind.

As lower cravings
from body identity sprouting
slowly recede
when gross ferality we do weed
there yet remains
inner urge free of any ego stain
innate magnetic pull
as of Jonathan Livingston Seagull
thirst for flight
to thought transcending height
a burning yearning
with veiled divinity connecting
thus make a choice
to align with conscience’s voice
shifting to the heart
within where all one, none apart
unshackling love
resident deep within not far above
this simple shift
in surrendered stillness, Gods gift
allows the divine flow
each node within blissfully aglow
with the one light
ecstatic throb within day & night

Once I was condemned to die eternally
Found guilty without iota of a doubt
Showing human nature at its sinful best…
…yet, God made me free!*
The Saviour with His wondrous love and mercy
Offered to me His magnificent pardon
Which I received, trusting Him with my pure faith…
…setting my soul free!
Unshackling with mercy my transgression-chains
Christ paid fully my iniquities’ wages
Through His glorious sacrificial, cleansing blood…
…granting my freedom!
Rescued now from hell-fire’s everlasting death
I’m heaven-bound along God’s marvelous grace
Grateful to live for Him, my loving Master…
…serving Him freely!
*Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

So miserable in my wretchedness
I was reached out by God with His mercy
When He offered His precious love’s graciousness
Paid by His blood of divine clemency.
For me to possess life everlasting
Christ sacrificed Himself, tasting death’s gloom
He ransomed my soul; real freedom, granting
Against condemnation-pangs of hell’s doom.
The Lord sought me thru His forgiveness-might
Unshackling my heart from guilt-angst fetters
By His Word that prevails with His truth’s light
He secures my spirit midst sin-twisters.
Such is indeed beautiful mystery
Wrought by God for my faith-blessed victory!*
*1John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Fearless Raven, soaring in
the rich, dark chasm—
that world of shadows, echoes,
cliffs and crags chaotic,
the void of subtle stirrings in
a quintessential midnight—
Make some room for me
on your old, straight wings.
I, too, need to sense
lightning piercing stardust,
galvanizing mountains,
stoking distant thunder.
Let me catch a breath
of your pure, primeval air,
exotic and unshackling
latent, raw, unbounded.

Frayed Baggage
by Odin Roark
Dreamt fields
Where wall-less interiors boast stunning views
Personal vistas of imagination
Requiring only attachments be left behind
The resentful
The angry
The baggage labeled heavy
For just as everyone can’t be
Who or what they think they are
Revelation often becomes frayed baggage of the mind
Clutched with guilty claws
Self-loathing that refuses to heal
Narcissistic defenses
Deliver delusions of grandeur
Driving the moral compass further downward
Where an icy kingdom of vicarious reality
Becomes one’s personal abyss
Such is the plight of a luggage-laden life
One’s weighty attempt to always be part of something
Rejecting being one with the singular self as success
The fortunate abandon that which can’t be changed
Unshackling the drag-behind regrets and disappointments
And breathing in the oxygen of continuance
Discovering closure reveals the eternal opening
The paradoxical passage into meeting
One’s innate traveling companion of wager
The one who travels with toothbrush only
Sharing weightless wins in life
We know not of…
Yet

whisper to me in dark places,
unshackling my mute form
revive the thousand voices,
I have sustained in a forever
unspoken and formless
so as to be forgotten,
it was in a night-scape,
the void of sound
negated speech
I break into flight,
with an oath choking
on my first cry
I drift on the hair of my nape,
as the weave of my cloth
spirals, for a moment
as gums bleed out
the rhythm in my shade, refrains
I ask of you,
caress me in a softness
of mourning,
whisper to me of dark places
for now,
I am a broken vow of silence
spoken in a thousand tongues
