Ulladu Narpadu Addendum 131

If we abide in the Self, we are free,
else trapped in narrow cravings, we are bound,
so unshackling presence from our mind tree,
external impulses do not confound,
for we are at all times, in bliss mists drowned.
May we shine as Self, by day and by night,
commingled with fragrance of bliss delight.

Dear US my fellow philosoper, what a beautiful way to describe the mental clutter we often mistake for our identity. It made me reflect on how much of my own day is spent reacting to "external impulses" rather than simply abiding in that quiet center you describe. Those cravings that keep us tethered to the shore. Winter Blessings, US, Daniel.
