I remember...

I remember I fell through that wooden floorboard.
I was careless where I stepped, and the weight of my mistake made me fall right through.
I remember the embarrassment I felt... it nearly broke my self-esteem.
I can hear them use their traitorous tongues.

I remember I walked carefully over those wooden floorboards.
I see their eyes glare and hear the whispers of people who judge me for treading so cautiously.
I am wary of what they are saying. ..of what they may think.

I walk confidently around that wooden floor.
I am aware of their judgements and their hateful glares.
I don't care what they think.
I no longer have to tread so carefully.
I can run free.

 I remember...

Premium Member Low Trust, High Trust

The biggest question of our time
Is low vs high trust culture.
Which one do you want to live in
And be part of?
There is a difference you know,
Valid differences based on how people act.
Do you want your neighbors to act with integrity
Or with impunity?
If you say impunity, you don’t even belong
In a first world nation.
Either go back
Or take a visit and don’t come back,
High trust is, as with all trust,
Something earned not given.

Go With God

It is not where you have been,
or the color of your skin,
that determines your real worth.
God loved you before your birth!

So…be still, listen and know:
what life will to you, now show,
and wherever hence will trod,
He is with you…Go with God.

MANTRA

 She sees in bearded baba
 a radiating white light
follows him with trust and peace

alone in the bed meets him
 for mantra in the ear
 only to discover

 a rapist narcissist
 reciting his ode to sex
 in three-word phrases

Premium Member language and lateness

I think the language of dating tends to be intentionally overeducated, because modern romance often requires forensic attention to fragments: eye movements, direct response or response delay and strategic silence.

The term ‘boyfriend’ is a deliberate allocation of trust.

Though we kiss for control with charming nonchalance,
it’s gritty and everyday, not decorative companionship.

On another note..

I love staying up late at morning
I have vampire tendencies
that’s my frequency

Should I start to turn in earlier
or wait for school to begin
I’m that kind of worrier
that’s the way my world spins

LOVE TRUST

I have lived and learned,
and i thought i had earned
experience, strength,
and mental health.

But one more time,
i trusted and died.

I don´t want to hide,
i just want to be fine.

Once again people lied,
once again a had to cry.

I know it´s not my fault,
and that soon it will be in my past,
but it´s one more scar on my soul.
and probably wont be the last.

Premium Member Trusting

I gently close my eyes, letting the day’s noise fall from its place
a small truth rises within—one I’ve carried but never named aloud
in that stillness, I offer it fully — trusting the silence to hold it

Premium Member Chaos Theory II

Release the criminal
Even the convicted
So they can offend again.

Teach the child
To doubt everything
Their parents and cultural roots.

Instill the fear
Of a terrorist attack,
Mass shooting or climate change.

Encourage riots, street violence
Race and ethnic and religious conflict
So that there is no trust of others.

Destroy the family unit
Without civility and decency
In absence of the sacred.

Bring on the chaos
In the name of hope and change
‘Till it all falls down.

A table

Upon me, I have seen so many things come and go,
from my creation to my extinction.

I’ve seen plates come and go,
I’ve seen tempers flare,
I’ve seen asses come and go,
I’ve seen centuries pass.

I’ve seen hands come and go,
I’ve seen wings take flight,
I’ve seen declarations made,
I’ve seen people part ways.

Limerence

Do you know what it’s like to trust someone
and feel as if it’s jumping into a lake with weights tied to your leg? Watching everyone you love slowly drift away till gone. Like taking that step not knowing if it will turn out the same.

Do you know what it’s like to finally trust that person and put your all into making it work out? As they slowly distance themselves from you, but was it ever bound to work out?

Was I actually loved, or was I in love with the possibility of being loved by you? Did you ever feel the same about me or was it all just limerence?

AbLe

Again another excuse
Another kind of fable
All the mental abuse
Relationship unstable

Lets for once call a truce
Lay all our cards on the table
Though what is the real use
If niether of us are then able

At times l feel a recluse
Whatever you call the labal
Ease the presure ,cut loose
If either of us are able

A Blind Man

I am a man that cannot see,
I have to trust in what I feel,
Because I feel you next to me.

I am a man that cannot see,
I have to trust those who guide me,
So I trust you won't leave me lost at sea.

I am a man that cannot see,
I value your voice more than your words to me,
So I trust you when I hear say you love me.

I am a man that cannot see,
I am not blind, I lived in a fantasy.
Now you have left me for him-
That is all I see.

Premium Member My Humble Offering

A master weaver working infinite looms,
Who spans the endless dark with silver thread,
An architect of stars and quiet rooms,
Who breathed upon the dust to wake the dead.

The steady pulse beneath the ocean’s chest,
The potter’s fingers shaping living clay,
A silent shore where weary orbits rest,
The origin of night and light of day.

Yet between my fragile heart and your boundless grace
Lies a canyon carved by human doubt and space—
A wide expanse no ship could ever cross,
Where earthly wisdom turns to total loss.

To seek your favor and your gentle eye,
I’d lay my stubborn pride down in the dust.
I’d give up every dream beneath the sky,
And place my broken plans in total trust.

I’d walk through silent sands without a word,
And offer up the quiet pain I bear,
Praying that my heartbeat might be heard,
Surrendering my life into your care.

I bring my open hands, my breath, my song,
And lay my heart where it has belonged.
I offer up all that I am, and all I try to do—
Is a yield like mine enough to reach to you?

Judgment
and criticism
from people
who fear
the unknown
and want to
control others
do not carry
much weight
when it is
known that
most of these
same people
have already
thrown their
own personal
ethics out
the window and
have also
contributed
to the karmic
messes being
cleaned up
to this day--
which is why
we must carry on
and go forth
knowing that
someday our gifts
will help
the community
see more clearly.
